Maré is a simple, private-by-default period tracker. Your data stays on your device. If you want to sync across devices, you create an account — and even then your entries are encrypted before they leave your phone. Add a secret phrase for an extra layer, and choose whether support can help you recover it: turn recovery off and the encryption is end-to-end, so not even we can read your entries. The new Help Center, in Settings, gathers ready answers for the most common questions: subscription, secret phrase, predictions, reminders, Maré Together. It works offline and has search. • If a ready answer doesn't solve it, start a conversation with us right there. Write whenever you want, even without a connection, and get a notification when we reply. Conversations stay with your account and show up on any device you sign in to • At the end of each answer, tell us whether it helped. That's how we improve the texts • A support code, in the Help Center, identifies your account without your email — handy if you signed in with "Hide My Email" • Deleting your account now removes everything at once: entries, support conversations and the Maré Together link • Fixed: the card asking about your contraceptive method opened with "None" already checked, and going back without tapping saved nothing. Now nothing is checked until you choose What you log stays encrypted. The support conversation is the only thing our team reads, and the screen says so before your first word. ### 2.3.0 — 2026-09-05 Maré now calls you by name. Tell us how you'd like to be addressed and the Today screen greets you. If you want, add the day and month of your birthday — just those, never the year — and Maré wishes you a happy birthday. The reminder is created on your device. • Your own reminders: medication, water, exercise, whatever you need. You pick the name, the time and the days of the week, and they're kept in your account — switch devices and they come with you • A profile photo that stays on this device only: it never goes to the cloud and no one else sees it • Your name and birthday travel encrypted, like everything else you log: not even we can read them Your entries and your prediction stay exactly as they were. ### 2.2.0 — 2026-09-04 What you log now comes back to you. History has a new Patterns screen: what repeats across your cycles — in how many of them each symptom showed up, and which day it usually starts — counted from what you logged yourself. An item only appears after repeating in three cycles, and the screen describes what already happened: it is not a diagnosis or a symptom forecast. • Logging your period got fast: select several days at once in the calendar, and the app asks whether it started before today • The symptom list grew and gained categories and search — the ones you log most rise to the top on their own • Take your cycle to your appointment: a one-page PDF summary, or your data as a spreadsheet, both created on your device • Your cycle day now fits in a widget on the home screen and on the lock screen, with a discreet mode that shows only the number • The logging reminder counts your days in a row, so you don't lose the streak without noticing Your logs and your prediction stay exactly the same. ### 2.1.0 — 2026-08-31 Your subscription now belongs to your account, not to your device. Plus now works on any device where you sign in with the same account. That's why buying asks you to sign in first: it's what lets you take Plus to another device. Restoring a purchase still works without an account, exactly as before. • The cycle ring now explains what each color means, instead of leaving you to guess • The week strip shows three days ahead and tells you what each mark stands for • Screens now follow what changes with gentle motion — and they respect your device's reduce motion setting We also fixed the details that got in the way: the day number is back in the center of today's circle, the what's new sheet no longer takes over the whole screen, signing out actually closes the account screen, the secret phrase has a button to reveal what you type, and the cards on Today always have a way out. Your free trial now follows your account rather than the installation. ### 2.0.0 — 2026-08-28 Getting started with Maré is much faster now. Setup used to take nine steps. It now takes four, each with a back button and a progress indicator. And nothing comes pre-answered — what you pick is what you picked. • Already using Maré on another device? You can sign in on the very first screen, without answering everything again • We tell you upfront how the subscription works: how many days are free and what happens after • Don't remember when your last period started? That option is back. Maré waits for your first log instead of guessing a date • The period you tell us about now shows up on your calendar as a real entry What left the setup didn't disappear. Birth control, reminders and invite codes now show up as cards on the Today screen, at the moment they make sense — and you can dismiss any of them. The reminder card, for instance, only appears after your first log: before that there's nothing to remind you about. And an invite code no longer requires creating an account before you can apply it. If you already use Maré, your logs and your prediction stay exactly as they are. You pick up right where you left off. Settings is better organised too, with its own screen for each topic: account, cycle, reminders, plan and privacy. And, in case you hadn't seen it yet: syncing across devices is now simple. Just sign in with the same account and your entries are there, already synced — still encrypted on your device before they go to the cloud. The secret phrase became an optional extra layer you turn on in Settings › Security.
