The aesthetic is so much better, the iPhone widget is perfect and I love the different shelves and ways I can organize my books! I would give a full 5 stars but only thing it’s missing is the “social” side! I wish there was somewhere like a feed to scroll to like and comment on friend’s posts, not just the “story posts”!!! Something about their filter only working on human faces. First of all, that’s idiotic. Second of all, the filter used is very clearly ai, as can be seen when taking a proper look at the details. For an app about reading, I’m extremely disappointed with the ai usage, especially now with the truth about how damaging ai is being common and easily accessible knowledge. Another thing, when I attempted to choose a photo that had only half of my face shown, it somehow found a picture of my full face (which was no where near the original picture i chose, so no chance of me having misclicked and chose that one instead) and used that. That is extremely creepy to me, I do not like how it was able to do that without my consent or input. My point is, the whole filter thing is moronic, to the point it turned me off using the app completely and I deleted it. Please, just let people use what pictures they want to use as their profiles. Better yet, give them the option to choose if they want their face being put through ai or not.
