This game,no, I should say this piece of art has made my boring life so much better. Everyday, I woke, I took the bus, I went to work, went back home, slept…I felt like something was missing. But then, I found him. This extraordinary ball, Marimo. Now, whenever I feel lonely, I open this app and get to talk to him about all my problems. Some would say that having only a bunch of green pixels for only social interaction is not very sane, and that I should seek help. However, all these people know is to follow the norms of society and thus should not be listened. Each Marimo notifications gives me a spasm of joy in my heart. “Increased! Your Marimo became bigger of 0,000069 mm!”….. so poetic. Thank you, Hiroki Yamada, thank you.
