Thought this would be the one that quizzes you with the actual questions on the CG exam; instead it’s just and electronic version of the navigation rules. One problem I found was it does not specify whether a rule is ‘inland’ or ‘international’.

Considering the price of this app I was surprised to get a message flag up about it which said the application will not be compatible with future versions of IOS and may slow down my phone unless the developer updates the software.

This is a very neat and useful app. It seems a pity that it doesn't stretch to comprehensive cover of the colregs though. The less well known lights such as fishing vessels shooting nets could easily be covered in an extension section. 
In the learning section the self test function showing lights in the dark is clearly a lazy effort. The lights are just taken direct from the teaching examples, so for instance, for a single white light an answer is given of 'power vessel more than 50m in length from astern' because that is the blacked out example in use. In fact it could be a vessel of any length from astern, a vessel less than 7m, a small vessel at anchor, etc etc. if the effort was made to write a bit more code it could be a brilliant tool.

Changer de langue requiert de changer la langue de l'iphone dans Paramètres. Grossières erreurs de traduction en français. L'application semble bien faite à première vue mais ne semble adéquate que si vous l'utilisez dans sa version anglophone originale. /Switching to another language requires changing the device language in Settings. Major mistakes in the French translation. The app seems to be quite interesting but is not suitable if you do not intend to use it in its original English version.

Die App könnte ein nettes Nachschlagewerk "für Zwischendurch" sein.

Leider wurde die App seit 2014 nicht mehr aktualisiert und wird in der derzeitigen Fassung unter iOS 11 nicht mehr funktionieren und dann wohl wertlos sein. 😒

内容は教本などのコピーかと
思うほどそのまんまです。
数少ない日本語表記も期待してましたが、翻訳ソフトで作ったらしく、整合性のない日本語が多く、いっそ英語のままのほうが理解できたかも。。。
浮標などを、船の上で見ながら
確認できたら便利かと思い
購入しましたが、これですと
一覧表をパウチしてデッキに
置いておいたほうが有効です。
100円などならいいですが、
この価格のかちはありません。

I have just reset my iPhone 3G and updated apps only to find that the current version of this app only runs on iPhone 5. What do Imray presume that the many users of older phones are going to do? It would be useful to be able to access the older versions.

If I could award zero stars I would!

Ignore the other reviewers, I’m guessing they didn’t look before they bought and now they’re peeved. 
There are many other applications to get in depth Collision Regulations , but at that point you may as well get a book (iBooks has some good interactive ones.)
This app is a quick study guide that I like to let my students use when studying advanced cruising. It serves as a helpful reminder, that clears up the cluttered mess of other apps, since everything is organized well. I like to use it for morse code as well, but the flash cards are a great way to teach anything from ColRegs to semaphore. 
There are ways it could be improved, but it does not merit such low reviews.

Nicely replaces a stack of flash cards - all of which cost a few pounds each! As a reference for sea-faring folk, it does the job well, and the latest update to add iPad compatibility in a universal app is great!
