## What is Marine VHF Assistant?

Marine VHF Assistant helps sailors and motorboaters prepare clear marine radio calls and transmit them with confidence.

In an SOS or emergency situation on board, every person should be able to make a distress call if needed.

The app supports you in emergencies, urgency situations and everyday life on board. It guides you step by step through important VHF calls and uses your saved vessel details, GPS position and contact information to create suitable call texts.

Features:

Mayday, Pan Pan, Mayday Relay and Securite calls
Cancel false alerts and close ongoing distress calls
Add GPS position automatically to the radio call
Include vessel details such as name, call sign, MMSI and description
NATO phonetic alphabet for vessel names and call signs
Have the radio call read aloud
Copy the radio call to the clipboard
Routine calls for marinas, locks, bridges and other contacts
Contact management for vessels, marinas, locks and bridges
Save berth information after arrival
Language settings for routine calls
Distress and urgency calls are deliberately created in English so they can be understood internationally
Routine calls can be prepared in the appropriate language depending on destination and settings
The call texts are based on SRC marine VHF practice.
