Most mail apps opened that link in their own browser rather than in Market Essence, so it often looked broken — and it meant waiting on an inbox just to read a filing. Signing in is now one email, one password, one tap. ALREADY USE MARKET ESSENCE? If you used to sign in with an emailed link, you will not have a password yet. On the sign-in screen, enter your email and tap "Forgot password?" — we will email you a link to choose one. Your subscription, your account and your saved history all stay exactly as they are. RESETTING A PASSWORD Password reset lives on the sign-in screen. It now tells you plainly what it has done, and says so honestly if the email takes a minute to arrive. ### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-16 Our first update since launch — a clearer picture of your data, and a much smoother way in. SIGN-IN MADE SIMPLE Most mail apps open a sign-in link in their own browser rather than in Market Essence, which left that link looking broken. The app now says plainly what to do: copy the link from the email, paste it in, and you're signed in. KNOW HOW CURRENT YOUR DATA IS Institution profiles now carry two new rows. "Latest fetched" tells you the newest 13F quarter the app holds and the date it was filed with the SEC. "Data as of" tells you when we last pulled that institution from EDGAR. No more guessing whether a number is this quarter's. STRAIGHT TO THE NUMBERS Holdings now opens on the ranked bar chart — every position, named and sized, largest first. History opens on the ranked view of what was bought and sold that quarter. The treemap, rings, structure and money-flow views are all still one tap away. MORE RELIABLE SUBSCRIBING Confirming a purchase now shows its progress and retries on its own if the connection is slow, so you are never left watching a silent spinner. If it still cannot finish, the app tells you exactly how to complete it — your purchase is never lost. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE Quarters now read the same way everywhere (Q1 2026). The close button on the sign-in screens is properly aligned. Slow requests now fail with a clear message instead of hanging.
