The app wasn’t great, and we all know that, but at least students and teachers could check the leaderboard and such when using it from our phones. Now, even that function is gone, meaning we need to log on to a computer to be able to play or use it. In an age where everyone is on their phones, especially in high school, this is hugely inconvenient and will drop participation significantly.  Sad.

As others have stated, the app seems great but is poorly (or not at all) optimized. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max that has never had any issues before. The game freezes and lags horribly, making it almost impossible to operate within the app.

Once I backed out of the game, the rest of my phone was also unusually laggy and I noticed it was beginning to overheat. Needless to say that as soon as I deleted the app, all these problems immediately disappeared with it.

Hopefully the app is optimized for operation once again because it’s definitely got potential. It’s simply not practical (or likely safe) for use as of right now (March 6th, 2025).
