It’s a lot cheaper than eventbrite, I can do all my promo through social media, and now I can reach people who’ve come to past shows through and keep ticket sales going. I’d recommend it to anyone, but small show runners for sure. ### 5/5 — Professional company *2023-03-26* Everyone at this company are the most professional people I’ve ever seen. I downloaded the app and within 5 minutes a single file line of big sting men in business suits were at my door shaking my hand. Don’t listen 2 the haters on god, I’m smoking on that Bhutanese shadow garden pack, green goblin celery so good schlimer og look like a soggy bowl of coco puffs left overnight in a Walgreens parking lot on a misty Sunday morning. Yeah that’s it ### 5/5 — Awesome! *2022-09-15, version 2.7.0* Great App. Seamless text messaging. ### 5/5 — The New Markit *2022-07-06* I have been using Markit since it’s initial launch, and I have to say it has become an amazing new and innovative product. At first the app was a little slow and crashed every once in a while, but now it has become something that runs seamlessly and makes planning events, and gatherings so much easier. I have been able to make plans with my friends way easier now. I Canceled ASAP & Will Use Podium Instead… ### 1/5 — Must Use Stripe for Payment *2024-02-22, version 2.10.0* This app is cool but forcing us to use Stripe is a no go. Stripe is terrible and they charge so much interest on your ticket prices. At least EventBrite does direct payouts. ### 1/5 — Unprofessional company, do not use! *2023-02-26, version 2.8.5* I’m writing my real and honest experience on this brand, they’re one of the most unprofessional brands I’ve ever seen. It began when I started seeing their ads on Instagram several times and let them know nicely that they should fix their ad targeting, mistakes happen and as someone who was looking out I figured they can use their Ad dollars in a better way. They then began harassing me (publicly on IG comment) saying “that’s not how it works 🤣🤣”. I then just said that’s how it is actually and someone else even chimed in and agreed they then continued to comment saying “lol what a sick burn. U got me weak 😂😂”. Their comments after that didn’t finish they kept going and being very confrontational and abusive, not just to me but other comments even saying to someone “who even are you?” . After all of this, they deleted the remainder of their comments but I screenshot them before this. I’m about new and on the rise companies, but treating people like this publicly…and on Instagram? It’s horrible. I can’t believe a brand would speak about this to someone. I won’tbe surprised if the reply to this is just as rude. To any brand who reads this, this is a lesson, take the high road. I rarely write reviews but just had to share my experience. Thank you ### 1/5 — Can't even use the app *2023-02-10* Everytime I try to make an account it won't worm and say there's an email associated with the phone number. I found the email, but no longer have access to the email because it was completely deleted. There's no say for me to reset it or even contact support. **Developer response:** Hi! Let us help. We plaster our hotline number and email everywhere on our app, website, app store, and socials, it's actually super easy to reach us if you just put in a little effort! Keeps crashing and wiped my entire phone multiple times. Also none of the buttons work when I click and the app title isn’t even funny or creative or any where near a play on words. Furthermore, the color blue is VASTLY overused in app production so maybe change that?? In conclusion, using markit for college parties is a very silly idea. **Developer response:** Sorry you had a poor experience johnny! We've made major improvements to the app since this review and hope you will take another look! The new interface is super sleek and easy to use, and all of their new features are extremely useful. Their mass texting feature in particular has completely changed the way I engage with my audience!
