## What is MarkTrail?

MarkTrail turns your visits to Korean heritage sites into a travel journal.

Stand near a National Treasure, a scenic site or a natural monument, confirm your visit, and a stamp is pressed into your collection. Every stamp joins its era, from Gojoseon to the modern age, and your book fills up as you travel.

What you can do
Browse more than 860 Korean heritage sites by region, as a list or on a map
Read each site, its era, its address and its photo in your own language
Confirm a visit by GPS and earn an illustrated stamp
Follow your progress era by era and climb eight explorer ranks
Save the places you want to see and plan your route
Share a freshly earned stamp with your friends

Seven languages
Korean, English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish and French. Site names, descriptions and addresses are translated too, not only the interface.

Privacy
No account, no sign up. Your visits, saved places and profile stay on your device and are never sent to a server. Location is used only to confirm a visit on the spot.

Heritage information comes from the open data of the Korea Heritage Service Heritage Portal.

Added French and Traditional Chinese. Site names, descriptions and addresses are translated too, not just the interface.
The collection is now a stamp book arranged by era. Visited sites get a seal, the rest wait as empty slots.
Confirming a visit now plays a celebration as the seal lands, and you can share the stamp as a card.
Your explorer character now appears across the app and tells you how far is left to the site.
New tab icons, new colours and a friendlier typeface.
Fixed a photo that would not open when tapped, and saved places that survived a full data reset.

This update (version 1.0.1) includes the following changes since the previous submission:

1. Added the app's Marketing URL to the App Store Connect listing.
2. Fixed an issue where heritage sites whose official designation had been cancelled by the Korea Heritage Service showed no photo or description. These sites are now excluded from the app's list, since the source government data for them is largely empty.
3. Fixed a layout issue where the photo or text on some heritage site detail screens did not display correctly within the screen bounds.
4. Added a missing description for one heritage site (Wonseong Daean ri Zelkova Tree) whose government data source had no description text, based on publicly available factual information from the local government.
5. Fixed the display orientation of one heritage site's photo (Jinan Eunsusa Cheongsilbae Tree) that was previously rotated incorrectly.
6. Improved the in app search function to search across more fields, and fixed a bug where search filters were not kept when browsing by region.
