It’s not exactly intuitive on first look, you can drag the button up and down to change the time, and see the forecasted weather… lovely so far, then we get to the tides screen the bouy/button makes a nice interactive toy for a minute, as does the levelling water… what I expected was: If I slide the bouy up and down, it would show the level of the tide at the corresponding time… alas no, but please make it so! It would make the app so much more useful for people planning trips to the coast. ### 5/5 — Excellent information. I originally downloaded it because I live by the tides and wanted to know when they would rise and fall, but I also found it makes a good lunar calendar and weather app too! It’s simple to use and the design is visually appealing. In addition, it also allows you to add your specific location for a more personalised reading. What a thoughtfully designed app! I would definitely recommend it. ### 4/5 — Quite beautiful, but umm... *2020-06-19, version 3.2.3* So the app is great. I live 25 min. from the ocean so this helps with tides and moon phases. My 2 minor complaints are they the forecasts are kinda inaccurate. It’s been incorrect with the clouds the past few days, temp is accurate though. Maybe switch to OpenWeatherMap as a weather provider? My other complaint is that it doesn’t work in the Arctic. The app goes back to the home screen but it’s not a major loss because I don’t live there. Additions: You have moon phases so you could make “moon days”. For example: Solar and lunar eclipses OR the names of the full moons. App rating 8/10 ### 5/5 — The most beautiful app *2020-05-19, version 3.2.3* This has been the most beautiful app ive seen for years, easy simple, just perfect really ### 5/5 — Beautiful design. Almost perfect. *2020-02-22, version 3.2.3* Elegantly minimalist app which is almost perfect. 5 stars would have been given, but I’ve just spent the last half hour trying to find the built in tutorial. If it exists, it’s very well hidden. Also, I’m in Devon, UK, and although I tried both search by location and manually entering my city and beach, the app can’t find my beach. It goes to towns either side of me (West and East ish). Not a huge problem as their tides are only slightly different but a little disappointing nonetheless. As someone else mentioned, it would also be very useful to be able to view the tide heights. ### 5/5 — Best looking app I have *2019-10-10, version 3.2.3* I love this app because the design is so gorgeous. I don’t really have much of a use for it because the weather isn’t detailed like other applications I have. For instance, this app tells me the high for the day, the sky clarity and precipitation. It doesn’t tell at what times these factors will be changing which I find to be a useful feature. If it were to be added, I’d delete all my other weather apps. I’ll probably keep this app forever though because I like to look at it on occasion. ### 4/5 — Love this app won’t let me change the location that I want to check *2019-10-03, version 3.2.3* I love the app it’s very simple and easy to use but when I try to change the location it keeps going back to the original one. ### 5/5 — Simple, beautiful to look at, but super informative. *2018-12-22, version 3.2.3* What I really like about this app is that it uses the features of smartphone navigation cleverly. Swiping up, down and to left and right take care of: Future days (Left swipe); 5day forecast (Right swipe); Moon phases (Up swipe) and daily trends (down swipe). Tapping any screen brings up more details such as sun and moon rise, wind speeds, temperature forecasts and rain. Different location can be set, but the default is beach or city (work and play if you like). But the app is even cleverer than that. The designer realised that it’s changes or events in forecasts that we need to know about. So you can set a series of smart notifications. I find the rain forecast very helpful. It sends a small notification, accompanied by a discrete but recognisable trill telling me when I might need my brolly. I find it’s interpretation of the weather data is accurate, appropriately detailed and whatever the forecast, I find when I power the app into life, I’m delighted by the simple beauty of the screen. ### 2/5 — SCAM?? *2018-09-15, version 3.2.2* First off, this app is beautiful hands down. There is no question about that. However, when it comes to actual FUNCTIONALITY. This is where the app fails. All I want to do is check what the weather is and what the weather will be later in the day. One of the feature lists out that it shows hourly weather but I don’t think this is the case??? I’ve literally spent forever to find it and alas - nothing. The developer responded to one review saying that there was a tutorial uploaded but where is it? This seems to be all lies and kind of sketch to charge a customer to invest in app that literally doesn’t do what it says it does. I’m very confused as to why there 100+ reviews and 4.5 star rating. The app disappears. Neat feature, but I am not certain it’s meant to work that way. Though, as a weather app I would expect it to be more comprisable with “smaller” locations rather than LA or Chicago. It’s a wonderful idea, and it looks beautiful.
