Marmot Stage is a voice-first creative studio. Tap the mic, ramble, pick a stage — Stage transforms your spoken thoughts into a polished piece and performs it back to you in the right voice for the moment.

ON-DEVICE BY DEFAULT
Marmot Stage is built around your privacy:
- Voice input is transcribed on your iPhone using on-device speech recognition. The audio of your ramble never leaves the device.
- Rendered pieces are performed back through Apple's on-device speech synthesizer, including support for Personal Voice on iOS 17+. Nothing is streamed from a server during playback.
- Only the transcript text is sent to our render proxy when you ask Stage to perform a piece — your audio stays on your phone.
- Renders, transcripts, and recordings live on your device, never on our servers. A manual backup export is built in.

What's new in 1.6

Fixed: after finishing a recording, the app could refuse to start a new one — and trying anyway could freeze and crash the app. Recording now restarts reliably, and starting a recording right after a render no longer locks up.

Fixed: recordings now recover correctly from system interruptions (phone calls, Siri, headphone disconnects) no matter which recording screen you used before.

Fixed: Send Feedback and Contact Support silently did nothing on devices without a Mail account set up. You now get the in-app composer, or our support address to copy: support@marmot-apps.com.

• A big cleanup under the hood: leaner, faster, more reliable.

NEW: Time Capsule — seal a rendered performance until a future date. It locks (no peeking), and we'll notify you the moment it opens.
