## What is Marquee Matinee?

Film League is a social movie competition app. Create a league, invite your friends, and compete across rounds to see who has the best taste in film.

Each round, the league admin sets a theme — anything from "Best Villain Performance" to "A Movie That Made You Cry." Everyone searches for and submits a movie that fits the theme. Then the group watches the picks and votes by distributing points across their favorites. Scores add up across rounds to crown an overall winner.

How it works:
- Create or join a league with friends using a simple invite code
- Each round has a theme set by the league admin
- Search from millions of movies and submit your pick
- Submissions stay anonymous until voting is over
- Distribute your points across the movies you loved most
- See the dramatic reveal of who submitted what and who won
- Track standings across the whole season on the leaderboard
