Unlike predictive apps, Marquette NFP™ Pro app uses the research-backed algorithm developed by The Boland Institute for Natural Family Planning (INFP) to give you clear insights into your fertility. 

With a 98% accuracy rate, Marquette Method offers couples a natural, reliable way to joyfully embrace their fertility. Marquette NFP™ Pro makes charting using the method simple. With clear, easy to interpret charts, couples are able to achieve or avoid pregnancy with confidence. 

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend learning the Marquette Method from a Marquette Method Certified Professional (MMCP) before relying on the app for Natural Family Planning decisions.

### 1/5 — No breastfeeding/postpartum charting options

Deeply disappointed that a “fully Catholic” NFP charting app would not offer breastfeeding/postpartum charting. As anyone familiar with Marquette NFP would know that until our cycles return we have to chart in a specific way to properly use Marquette method. Also offering a free trial period before full payment would have been nice consider you don’t know these limitations of the app prior to purchasing.

Right now, the app is focused on users with regular cycles. That is noted in a few places on both the website and within the app, and users are required to acknowledge this before purchasing. 

Postpartum and breastfeeding charting is a more complex part of the Marquette Method, as you mentioned. We know that postpartum cycles can vary widely from person to person, and that this is a time when confidence in your charting really matters. Because of that, we’re taking extra care to make sure the tool offers clarity and confidence in what you’re seeing day to day.
