There’s no “adventure” in this “Space Adventure Game”. It’s just a casual platform hopper. It’s adorably relaxing but after 738 platforms, it finally hit me—“girl, what am I doing?!” As the saying goes, insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting a different result, (an inaccurate idiom as it may be) and yet I keep jumping forward expecting to need to land on an enemy a-la Mario or dive into a tunnel to solve a mini-puzzle. There’s no goal (besides collecting skins for your little cosmonaut). There’s no challenge. Reason being: It’s just a lazy “game” formulated to make you watch ads. The ads are relatively sparse and not a single one thus far being forced. I’ll let the occasional ad play while I put my phone down to pet my dog or something. Only to return to the same platforms, same trees, same terrain, and 15 extra credits that have little impact on the enjoyment of the game. This game needs an update. Puzzles, tunnels/caves, selectable music, enemies, goals, upgrades (extra fuel, front/backflips, swimming, etc.), background flora & animated fauna. The occasional photo-ops are cute but also not very engaging. At least let me select which avatar I want to be in the picture and not default to the one I’ve been using. Give us poses and stickers for the photos. Just a little effort is all you need to make this an amazing game! It is so annoying. I have been playing this game on and off for literally 10 years - I’m 25 now and working at my first big girl job - with it always awaiting my return whenever I needed a quick break from my studies. Don’t worry, it shouldn’t take you THAT long to finish the game lol, it’s not endless. While the game is pretty simple, it gets the job done imo. The game doesn’t beg for money and doesn’t drown you with ads. A shining light in the modern mobile gaming landscape.
