## What is Marshal?

Marshal is a turn-based strategy for two. Every piece has a rank, but
your opponent's ranks stay hidden until they fight — so every attack
is a decision made with incomplete information.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

The weaker side is not doomed. If your unit is losing a fight, you can
pull in a neighbour and turn a defeat into a win: two of a lesser rank
can beat one of a higher. Up to three units in a group, standing side
by side. Most of the game happens around this rule — where your units
stand matters as much as what they are.

TWO WAYS TO PLAY

Against the bot — three difficulty levels, no account and no network
connection needed. Nothing leaves your device.

Online — play a stranger through matchmaking, or a friend by sharing a
room code. Both sides deploy in secret; the armies appear only once
both are ready. Turns are timed.

TWO BOARDS

Small, 10x10 with 34 units — a shorter game, with the rank scale
always in view. Large, 14x14 with 58 units — more room to manoeuvre
and more ways to build a group.

MARK WHAT YOU SUSPECT

Press and hold an enemy piece to note what you think it is. The mark
stays on the board and only you can see it.

NO ADS, NO TRACKING

There is no advertising in the game and no analytics or tracking
tools. Playing against the bot requires no account at all. Online play
creates an anonymous account — a random identifier with no name, email
or password — which you can delete from inside the app at any time.

Online play is free within a limit on the number of games per period.
The amount of free online play may change.

HOUSE RULES

Play through the app: no automated clients, no exploiting bugs to
reveal hidden information or bypass limits, and no extra accounts to
get around free-play limits.
