I was charged a full month’s insurance premium on the 14th, and just two days later my policy was cancelled without any clear or valid reason. This is completely unfair and feels like a scam. Taking a full payment and then cancelling the service within days is unacceptable. I am still waiting for a proper explanation and a full refund. I would strongly advise others to be very careful before using this company. ### 1/5 — Torture *2026-07-11* They no doubt give you a cheap Insurance, but in case something happens to your car then you will understand the level of customer service they have. They don’t have a contact Center so you cannot call them. The only option is for you to leave a message and they can take her as many days as they like to get back to you. My car was stolen even after weeks there is no update from them. People who talk to you have zero empathy and you have to understand until they process your claim,You are still paying the car Loan. so the longer you wait you will keep paying car Loan. As someone with hearing difficulties, being able to complete the process online without needing to make a phone call is extremely helpful. This insurance company is run by npcs and when u try and call them an npc answers the phone. If u have an accident and try and claim they do absolutely nothing and when u call them an npc answers and tells u to go on the app and when u go on the app an npc tells u u are in a queue and just leaves you there: FOREVER. ### 1/5 — Shockingly bad - not fit for purpose *2026-09-03, version 26.8.28* The app doesn’t work for me on either an Apple or Android phone. I cannot log into my account and have not been able to for almost 3 months So I cannot access payment details to change my payment card, which has meant that I get charged an additional £22.50 per month even though it is Marshmallow’s app which is not working. ### 1/5 — Tricked into downloading an app and digial ID *2026-08-28, version 26.8.21* Nothing is mentioned about having to use an app to ‘activate’ your car insurance- until after you have paid. Then you have to upload your ID and take a selfie in order to ‘activate’. Cheaper than other car insurance but no doubt they will be selling all of your data (including your biometrics) to make up for it. Ask for real person in the chat and finally getting a person on the chat, passed on to another person and their supervisor decides to cancel the policy. Nobody talks on the phone and cancelled the policy due to being a street trader.
