Always have deep discounts and healthy options. Only complaint is the cart view, half the page is covered with suggestions for more to buy and I can barely see what’s in my cart already! ### 3/5 — Mystery boxes are a ripoff *2026-04-09, version 1.0.86* Don’t get the mystery box - total ripoff. Not worth the price - just a random assortment of items at the regular Martie prices add up to $30. Just buy what you want no savings in the mystery box. This is the second time I've ordered from Martie and the package has not reached my front door. I appreciate the issue may lie with FedEx, but after losing hundreds of dollars on items that never made it to my hands, I cannot trust this company with any further orders and my money. Many of the “deals” aren’t deals at all if you run an internet search for identical items. I couldn’t login even though I had created the account yesterday and logged in. Also the emails had no unsubscribe option. Too many basic features are missing. This is just too many missing features for an online store. The app is so slow, and will not keep the sorting order. It is really inefficient to use and I find myself wasting a ton of time. If you have a site on which the products always change, you need to be able to move through it quickly. I have just been trying to get my order together for a few hours but it keeps getting slower or losing my place in the sorting order and repeating products. It is now super late, and I am just going to order from a different site. Also, I have to do some searching since they don’t show nutrition labels for a lot of the products. Not helpful. I don’t purchase most kinds of food without looking at calories, fat, protein, etc. Another issue is that the packing is very inconsistent. My last shipment ended up doused in the sent of home fragrance spray. I couldn’t use the products for over a week and had to keep them in a different part of my home. I will probably try again at some point, as I have found some great products and savings, but as they say, time is money, and I think by now I am nearing a net loss. ### 2/5 — Very glitchy *2025-06-28, version 1.0.75* The app is very glitchy, constantly crashes and logs out. When I first learned about Martie, it was quite wonderful, with the only drawback that I had to be careful not to order something we couldn’t use up before the due date. The Items we received were quality brands. More recently though, I have had trouble finding anything I really want to order. Time for me to call it quits, I think. The app works fine: It’s the products that are the problem. ### 1/5 — Horrible Customer Service *2025-09-04* Really sad about this, because the idea behind Martie sounds fun and sustainable, but the customer service seemed indifferent. My entire experience has been underwhelming and disappointing. My chat with them made me think I was talking to AI (which is fine except they don’t say so explicitly) or that the rep was relying heavily on AI or a prewritten script. I wasn’t aware I only had 7 days to return and found several expired items in my order. I understand they’re already a discount store, but the lack of flexibility and empathy means I won’t be shopping there again. Misfits Market, by contrast, is so much better, their customer service is truly top tier and I always feel good shopping there. I never had to return anything to Misfits Market but one time I got a broken jar of sauce and they refunded me with no questions asked. ### 1/5 — Poor shipment *2025-08-19, version 1.0.76* Ordered over a week ago. Still No shipment ### 1/5 — Misleading descriptions and expired product. Beware! *2025-06-15, version 1.0.75* 0 stars - My first order included an item purchased as a gift, and I was really disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding expiration dates. The website clearly states “best by 11/30/25” on the product summary, but the item I received had a completely different date printed on it. It turns out they’ve “extended the shelf life,” but that information is buried deep within the product page — not in the summary, and only mentioned at the very bottom in unclear language. If the printed date on the product doesn't match what's being advertised, that should be clearly disclosed with an asterisk or prominent note. As a customer, especially one buying a gift, I expect honesty and clarity. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me to decide I won’t be ordering again. It was my first and last purchase. The effort to resolve the issue was lacking, and customer service was subpar. Consider this a warning — be careful what you buy. ### 1/5 — Very disappointed *2025-05-29* I was very disappointed in the response I received after opening some crackers that I ordered that were rank. It was very clear that the customer service person did not care. I was told that due to it being more than a week, nothing could be done. Apparently it is incumbent that you have to open everything you order immediately to ensure freshness. I had ordered these guava crackers for a brunch and had I opened them immediately, I ran the risk of them not being crispy. I guess it doesn’t matter as they ended up in the garbage. It’s helpful to know that customer service is as rank as my crackers. ### 1/5 — Poor customer care/lack of accountability *2025-04-09* Struggling to recommend this app because even though I want to order again I can’t bring myself to because of how awful customer service is. A jar of salsa broke in my package, so I had to spend a couple of hours on a weekday cleaning up the mess off my floor and the other products and making sure the glass wasn’t everywhere. Everything smelled like salsa. I contacted them and sent pictures of everything that was damaged by the salsa and they almost didn’t give me a refund because they wanted a picture of the actual broken jar. The notifications are also broken so it took me a while to realize they had requested it so I told them I already threw it away because obviously, broken glass is a hazard. I expected to at least get a refund for everything that was damaged because even the clearance section of the grocery store doesn’t sell salsa covered items, but I only got a refund for the salsa, and no other attempt at a concession. Very odd customer care behavior for a company that needs customers to exist ### 1/5 — First Order Lost *2025-03-08, version 1.0.72* My first order was lost. No notification from Martie two weeks later. Last status was “label created , pending drop off” from UPS. Martie said a UPS tracer action needed to be created.
