I could walk through the store, pick the groceries I wanted, scan them, put them in my bags and scan my phone at the register. The problem is that the app and the store WiFi don’t always work. This has caused me to be audited several times in a row, even though I am the only one who uses the app at the store where I shop. On most of those occasions the store’s equipment didn’t work properly. Instead of checking out in less than a minute, I had to wait for as much as ten minutes. On one occasion the frozen food that I had was beginning to thaw by the time I got home. The people at the store try hard to figure out what to do. One man spent more than a half hour talking with IT and corporate care. He gave them my information and explained what was happening. He was told that someone would look into it and contact me directly within 48 hours to let me know what they found out. It has been a week since that happened, nobody from corporate contacted me and the problem has not been resolved. I couldn’t use the app today. ### 1/5 — Please Scan Additional Items *2021-04-21, version 20.30.10* If you want to feel like a shoplifter, then use this app. I’m very careful that I scan each item before putting it in my cart, but then at the checkout, the cashier gets the message Please Scan Additional Items. Then they look at me as if I’m trying to pull a fast one. I don’t know how the store verifies that customers aren’t putting things in their cart without scanning them first, but it isn’t working. I’ll never use this again. ### 1/5 — App doesn't work *2016-07-14, version 16.10.00* The app only loads partially and then can not be opened or deleted. This app is worthless. ### 1/5 — 1 Star - My Store Isn't Supported *2016-07-05, version 16.10.00* My local Martin's isn't supported but other stores in my area are. I'll revise my rating once the app is released where I can use it. ### 1/5 — Apparently Not In My Store *2016-05-29, version 15.40.00* I went to register the App and went to pick my store and my local Martins was not in the list. Would love to use the app to give it a fair evaluation. ### 1/5 — Useless *2014-07-12, version 7.23.00* Cashier cannot scan your phone to connect the order to the self-checkout lane. You must have a physical bonus card with you to use the app, just like the handheld scanner. ### 2/5 — Wouldn’t use again *2024-02-24, version 23.30.00* I’ve also used WalMart’s Scan & Go and it works much better. I couldn’t get any produce barcodes to scan. It didn’t show Martins card specials applied to each item as they were scanned but I won’t know if that mattered because the cart in the app randomly went back to empty and all was lost so I still had to check out at a register. ### 4/5 — Scan feature great. Coupon feature not so much *2022-10-20, version 22.10.00* The app linked to my Martins card without difficulty and I have scanned happily throughout the last two years. The issue I have is that I can not log into the coupon section of the app to add coupons. It always says my PIN is invalid. I follow the directions to create a new PIN and it still says it is invalid. So frustrating. ### 4/5 — Great app; saves time *2014-06-13, version 7.23.00* This app works very well at Martin's scan it sites. My only con is, I need the ability to add two bonus cards. We have two different bonus cards that are linked to each other in the store, but the app doesn't recognize the second one that isn't linked in the app; therefore, if you have the wrong card to scan at checkout, your order won't load. Also, the rapid scan is super fast. I usually scan one item twice accidentally when using the function.
