## What is MaruChimek?

MaruChimek is the official loyalty app for two restaurants currently operating under the MaruChimek brand.
With this app, loyal customers can collect points based on the amount they spend when dining in. These points can be saved and used for future purchases at the restaurants.

Beyond earning rewards, the app provides quick access to essential information — including restaurant menus, addresses, and direct links to Instagram for the latest updates and promotions.
Whether you're checking in for the latest news or planning your next meal, MaruChimek keeps everything in one convenient place.

### 2.4 — 2026-05-28

We’ve improved the loyalty system to make transactions more secure and transparent.

- Added invoice photo support for every point transaction (add / minus)
- Employees are now required to attach a receipt image before submitting a transaction
- Improved transaction tracking with timestamp-based history
- Enhanced verification system for easier daily auditing and reconciliation

This update helps ensure every point change is properly documented and traceable, reducing errors and improving operational accuracy.

### 2.2 — 2025-07-15

Updated Functionality Explanation:

There were two reasons our app was previously rejected:

Phone Number Field: We were informed that collecting the customer's phone number was not essential to the app's core functionality. Therefore, we have made this field optional.

Info Tab Visibility: The reviewer mentioned that the “Info” tab shown in the screenshots was not visible during testing. However, we had clearly stated in the Notes section that different features are visible depending on the account type — Admin or Regular User. It seems this may not have been properly reviewed.

To clarify once again:
When logged in as an Admin, the “Info” tab is not visible.
When logged in as a Regular User, the “Info” tab is visible.

This is the first time our app has been rejected for this reason. In previous updates, this point was clearly reviewed and accepted without any issues.

### 2.1 — 2025-07-09

Enhanced Validation for Points and Vouchers:
Added strict input constraints when earning points or redeeming vouchers. The app now prevents:

Submitting empty, zero, or negative values

Deducting more points than the customer currently has

Adding vouchers in unsupported amounts (only 250, 500, or 1000 allowed)

Various other potential input and logic errors are now caught and handled gracefully

This improves overall reliability and prevents unintended behaviors during transactions.

### 2.0 — 2025-07-07

This update brings a completely redesigned interface for a cleaner, more user-friendly experience.

The most significant new feature is the Gift Card system:
Admins can now create gift cards for users, which users can store in the app and redeem at the store. This addition improves the way promotions and customer rewards are delivered.

Additional improvements:

- A new user home layout that allows users to view promotional posts and images at a glance.

- Overall UI/UX enhancements for better navigation, readability, and consistency across the app.

This release focuses on improved functionality, smoother interactions, and a refreshed visual design.
