Don’t receive any app notifications anymore. Developers need to release an update! ### 2/5 — Update desperately needed *2025-09-09, version 2.3.120912* This app has not been updated for 2 years and it shows. So many bugs to fix! Push notifications do not work. ### 1/5 — Incorrect notification number *2022-02-24, version 2.3.98195* It’s a good one-way communication app but it’s frustrating that the red notification number on the app icon (on the phone home screen) just keeps adding up. That’s not really a huge deal though. My main issue is notifications. Every time I get one, the notification bubble shows the total number of notifications I’ve ever received. Should be much better by now. Perhaps the teacher app is better, but the parent app is pretty naff. I have seen better interfaces designed on imported cheap chinese made (and badly translated) tablets for 5 year olds. I used to use ClassDojo for one of my children, much better designed and much more reliable / intuitive. ### 2/5 — Unable to delete the app *2021-11-17, version 2.3.91005* I have been having issues with notifications so tried to delete app to reinstall, however the app will not fully delete from my iPhone. Having swapped from Tapestry which was being used by the nursery to this which is being used by the school, the difference is clear. There is no communication back to any teachers. The links to school money , school dinners etc do not work. It’s really hard to find an old message having to scroll through pages to find them, and then you have to high five the teachers to let them know you have seen messages, this app if for adults to use not children and on that note I Can’t even say it looks appealing. The child’s characters monsters are creepy it’s a dark and dingy monster theme, again for adults ?? You get a notification saying your kid has done something ‘marvellous’ - great. Until you click the notification and get a flashing screen (100% of the time this happens, so you have to force close the app and go in direct, rather than through the notification). The fact this simple bug hasn’t been addressed in over 5 months and the face that the UI is so dated, shows me that this is an app that is not actively maintained. Currently petitioning the school to change to one of the much better competitors - and I’m not the only one. Receiving messages what never can read! Somebody who invented it doesn’t have a clue what is the meaning of it. Suppose to make school and parents life easier! Rubbish app, should be discontinued and I wish our school found a better one. Even the teachers hate it! Be prepared to hear everything late and not be able to log on 9 times out of 10 even with their instructions! Should be out of business for such a poor product! It must be the cheapest option. It’s not clear what most of your icons mean. After playing with some it’s still not clear what this achieves. It’s not well organised. It’s like a 5 year old made it. I now have a special keepsake from his school years. The memory book shows all the different badges and messages In a fab layout! I can highly recommend the app & even more the customer service team for a quick, friendly response! The school are sending multiple messages via MarvellousMe which have been so rewarding for my child. She is able to receive voice messages from her her teacher which she has loved hearing her voice. Got my sons 1st picture on the app but when i looked at picture the icon for a new alert naturally disappeared but then there was no way marks or symbols as to where the picture was saved within the app, and when given the option to save the image to my iphones photo gallery, the app crashed and took me back to the iphone home screen. Still app doesn’t work. Constantly logged out and password not recognised. Developers need to update the app to modern times as never gets updated with new working features. People are paying for a service that they can’t receive.
