Yet, I didn’t fully understand the Divine Mercy Chaplet nor its incredible healing attributes when said multiple times a day, every day. A tremendous change has occurred within me, that goes beyond anything I have experienced through just novenas and prayers. The image of Jesus and His mercy has allowed me to forgive others, close my mouth in situations and ask Jesus to take over situations, and trust Jesus when trials are surrounding me. It has the prayers, but when I go to church, I can’t use this app to get through the prayers while beholding The Blessed Sacrament of The Altar! Also, what is “...and blessed is the fru”? Every single Hail Mary has that “mispronunciation.” That becomes very distracting. So much so that I think I am going to erase the app. I would also suggest you add some pauses to make the Rosary more conducive to meditation. This is important given that it’s an app by a religious community used for fundraising. After each mystery is announced on the single bead, during the recreation of the snail Mary decade, keep the mystery visible. I’m new to saying the rosary and that would help keep me focused, since I don’t have them memorized. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a summary of all the mysteries. I believe you have a pamphlet with that information. That would be a helpful tool and your information (i) button within the rosary could be added there as well. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Vibrate TWICE please! *2019-01-23* First of all, I like this a lot, but for now only gave 3 stars because I use the app in vibrate mode so I know I progress without looking at my phone. HOWEVER, I wish they would modify the end of every mystery (red bead) to vibrate twice. There were several times I would accidentally pass more than ten because there was no difference in the vibration at the end of a mystery. Especially useful if the eyes are closed when praying the rosary. So hopefully a simple double vibrate update in the end (red bead) would happen from the developers. ### 3/5 — "Froo" of Thy womb *2018-01-30* This comment is not about the technical functioning of this app but rather about the recording of it, so please get this information to the appropriate person or people! Let me start out by saying that I live directly across the river from Steubenville, OH, where Fr. Donald, Calloway from the Marians resides. I have the highest respect for the Marians and also for this rosary app, save for one error that I just cannot let go of! I have purchased and downloaded every conceivable audio Rosary app available from the iTunes store over the last several years and the one from the Marians here is by far the best, yet it is not without error. Some rosary apps will change the wordings of prayers and/or be inconsistent in certain word pronunciations. I am a trained speech and language pathologist with over 42 years of clinical experience so, trust me, I know what I am talking about with respect to my following comments: In the Hail Mary, the speaker whom they recorded does not articulate the "T" sound in the word "fruit" in the Hail Mary which cause a major distraction for me every time I hear all 50 within a rosary. Instead, the speaker is saying "froo" of thy womb, Jesus! The speaker is substituting what we call in my field a "glottal stop" which is produced with a sudden abrupt pressure release in the vocal chords instead of correctly producing the "T" at the tip of the tongue placed behind the top central teeth. The professional(s) who recorded this speaker should have caught this before releasing this rosary. Please have someone confirm my observation – someone with credentials in critical listening such as another speech pathologist and you will see that I am absolutely correct. I wish that people would take a little more care before releasing these Rosary apps! With so many repetitions of the Hail Mary, this thing drives me crazy because it didn't have to occur when recorded if it was caught! I hate to say it but your speaker needs to work on his speech accuracy when making such recordings. Because of this significant oversight, I gave it three stars instead of five. Sorry! Will definitely recommend this app with our Catholic community in Canada using iPhones. Please update the end of the fifth mystery in the rosary where it skips to the Hail Holy Queen after the last Hail Mary.
