My coffee is neither mint nor mocha. Did they even read the order that came in? I’d rather wait a couple extra minutes and have my coffee be the way I want it. I don’t want to pay an additional $1-2 for extra mint/mocha. Mary Lou’s coffee used to really be something, but recently it hasn’t been anything special at all. Don’t see myself visiting again any time soon ### 2/5 — Good in theory, not worth using *2025-06-25, version 4.0.10* My expectations might have been high as a Starbucks app user…but things you won’t find with this app: 1. Time savings from pre ordering - no matter how much lead time I give I’ve NEVER had it done in the 8-10 min that the app always said. Most times 20 min isn’t enough. You also have to wait in line regardless because the coffee is left behind the counter. 2. Rewards for your order - the cash back is negligible. Lowest of any coffee shop I’ve used including non chain shops. 3. Help with your order - most online ordering apps give you the ingredients of their items for you to customize your order. Not Mary Lou’s. If you don’t know what’s in the item, ordering it on the app isn’t going to help. Take some note from other companies and improve upon the experience. ### 2/5 — No ability to add gift cards *2025-05-30, version 4.0.10* I love Marylou’s and the app is great to navigate through but the payments should have the ability to add gift cards as a way to pay. ### 2/5 — No way to add a tip for the employees *2025-04-28, version 4.0.9* The app is okay, a little slow and not user friendly though. My biggest complaint is that there’s no way to add a tip for the employees ### 2/5 — Coffee with flaws *2025-04-28, version 4.0.9* In the app when ordering a coffee it asks what dairy to add to the coffee. If you specify that you want extra cream you have to choose light on a scale of light to dark. HOWEVER, the staff interprets the scale as light to heavy. This results in getting the opposite of what you wanted. Dunkin just asks “how much do you want?” With a number scale. Do that. ### 2/5 — Inconvenient *2025-04-22, version 4.0.9* Can’t order everything on their menu through mobile. So I often order and then have to order the rest when I go there or just will order all in person. ### 1/5 — Redbulls *2025-01-18, version 4.0.8* For some reason the redbull infusions cost two different amounts when you go in store vs if you order online. It cost a whole extra dollar if you want to add flavoring. This just recently started and makes no sense. Now I can’t even use the app with out spending 7.34 on a redbull. ### 2/5 — Can’t log in *2024-10-16, version 4.0.8* After my phone updated I have no way to log in. I have tried my password which they say is invalid, but they’re is no option to reset it ### 2/5 — First time *2024-06-01, version 4.0.8* So it’s our first time ordering but they got our order wrong,not sure if it was a mistake from app or the venue. ### 1/5 — Frustrating!! Needs major improvements *2023-05-28, version 2.0.5* Got a new phone and unable to sign in. Password reset through email sends code, password reset through phone number sends code. Either way when the code is entered it loads to a blank screen. Tried to delete app and reinstall and doesn’t work. Cant check out as a guest because it recognizes my phone number. This app needs major improvements!! The order screen doesn’t give defaults for “regular” so if you don’t know how it’s made you can’t enter the order the way you like. ### 1/5 — No longer working *2023-03-25, version 2.0.5* It’s been weeks and the ordering ahead is shut down. There goes all the reward points I racked up. Disappointing. ### 1/5 — Can’t order or redownload *2023-03-16, version 2.0.5* Was using the app to order an pay for months. Then would get an error message when try to order ahead. Mentioned it tot the staff. “I don’t know anything about the app” Today I thought I would delete it and redownload to fix the error. No lucky know can not download the app. Will probably loss the points I had. Ugh☹️ ### 1/5 — Cannot use app to order *2023-03-08, version 2.0.4* I have been using Marylou’s app for months and loved it. There were some bugs but that was easy to look over. Now I can’t even order from any location. I keep getting an error that says mobile ordering from the location is not available. This problem has been over a week and there is no one to escalate the issue too. Can this get fixed? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst app *2026-07-03, version 4.0.20* This is I think the worst app any fast food / coffee place has come out with. It’s needs some major improvements in fact I think the whole app needs a refresh. I would also love if you guys allowed the staff to scan the app so we can get points during in store purchases too. ### 1/5 — Not *2026-06-04, version 4.0.20* I’m still not able to order everything I want through the app or online. There’s no option for turkey sausage, which is available at the stores. Still have not been able to pay using Apple Pay. Very difficult to find items, takes a lot of clicks. Very unpolished app., clicking on their logo takes you to a broken DoorDash page. The fact that its rating averages two stars says it all. It’s a shame to have such a great store with such a bad app. This just says they don’t care about their customers. ### 1/5 — Coffee perfect, app awful *2025-12-06, version 4.0.10* When I order multiple coffees on the app, it doesn’t show the sizes to the employees. I’m logged in, have a debit card linked and when i try and pay it asks me to put my name and number in but then it tells me there’s already an account ? I re downloaded and tried to see if there was something else wrong. It’s not loading. It looks and feels like it was put together by a child who was learning how to code. It doesn’t look very professional. It’s not very smooth. It looks like they went with the cheapest option and you definitely get what you pay for. I’ll be uninstalling after I use the $4 gift card for signing up. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Really helpful to have this app *2024-02-07, version 2.0.6* Been a big fan of Marylou’s forever….as most of us have been in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and beyond…. Love that I can order from all stores. Love that the prices are the same in app as in store. Love earning 2% back….it makes it cheaper for me to order in app than in store. There are things I would like to see added but I sense those things will come over time. Thanks Marylou’s Coffee! Get this app! 5 stars. Highly recommended. Awesome having our drinks ready when we get there!!! ### 4/5 — not bad! could use a few things *2024-09-16, version 4.0.8* not a bad app by any means, just needs to work on the user interface (it kind of resembles the same issue the honeydew app has with adding/substitutions) the cash back feature is awesome! ordering isnt too hard if you’re going simple/picking from the menu. i havent had any transactional errors which is cool, im eager to update as the app does :) ### 3/5 — Web v App *2025-10-13, version 4.0.10* Ordering from the web site should not be different where it has all the add ons V. the app where there are only a few. And when ordering inside the store. All ordering should be unified. I’ve had to order from the app and in store for the same day. and there should be comments on the web.
