Also, too redundant and boring you have to go through 6 different rounds of looking for the same items in a room or place. ### 2/5 — Not very good *2026-05-20* Gameplay is very repetitive, and writing is frankly quite bad. When it comes to hidden object games, I much prefer the ones where the objects make sense to be where they are, whereas in this game it is nonsensical, like many other of these mobile hidden object games. Additionally, there is a glitch in the house decor mini game in which whenever Mary speaks, the game freezes and must be restarted. If you ask me, Mary simply talks too much and the game would be improved if she didn’t say anything at all. Two stars because while it is poorly crafted, it is just compelling enough to waste some time on. ### 2/5 — Confused *2026-05-20, version 1.6* So is it only 2 storylines because nothing is going on after the “ship docked”?!???? Interesting and different hidden objects game than most others but it has a few glitches where it freezes. This game could go on and on and be super popular and a good investment for creators if you all put the work in and make it a continuous game. At the very least, make people aware at the very beginning that this game has ONLY two chapters and to only make the smallest purchases or promise a refund for what is not used. ### 3/5 — Great game but glitchy *2026-01-30* It’s a fun game and you don’t need to spend money…but I eventually did and wish I hadn’t. Book 2 is the last chapter and now I have money and hints for nothing. The side game of renovating the office was cute but froze every single time causing a hard reset to continue. Can’t play that part of the game and is very disappointing. ### 4/5 — Great game; almost perfect. *2026-01-11* Unlike another reviewer, I haven’t had any issues with the game going off screen and being unable to select listed objects as a result. I have, however, had the same issue with the office-decorating mini game: the kitchen and balcony areas freeze up whenever placing a new item and the game has to be restarted every time. I have played the game for free. The commercials are a real pain, but all I can afford, and the game can be completed without any artificial difficulty forcing the player to spend money on it. Levels are accessed by spending 10 lightning bolts, of which the game will start you off with 60, and you can replenish the supply by either waiting out the timer or watching commercials for 10 bolts per viewing. The game comes in two chapters, but the story is incomplete. I don’t know anything about the developer, so I don’t know if new chapters will be added or a sequel created. Regardless, this game is worth playing. Unfortunately, there are a couple of glitches that keep me from giving this game 5 stars. First is that part of the board is not visible on my phone. I didn’t notice this until I had to find a flag that was off screen and I could only see it when zooming but not actually grab it. The other glitch is the decorating sub game freezes and I have to close out of the game to resume. Screen freezes 75% of the time when updating the detective office and only way to fix is to hard close the app and reopen; 2 or 3 hidden objects are outside of view (ex: the flagpole in front of the baron’s house); some confusion on what a few items are (ex: bolts of fabric were apparently “textile box” although there was no box involved); on the deck of the ship, Jacob was just a silhouette of bright pink where his body should be. ### 4/5 — The game *2025-11-12, version 1.5* The ads are a lot.
