Thank you ### 4/5 — A much-needed and beloved program for MASERATI’s l *2024-07-03, version 1.83.4* I wish to commend MASERATI for their making the application (ios) available to some models that have been released released prior to 2024 like the Levante and the Ghibli and such. I own a 2023 MASERATI Levante Moderna Limitada. I use this app consistently. The thing is that your Apple Watch support is not very good. That is to say the features are fine. It works well, but you only have a showing on the Settings menu. It needs to be able to be part of compilations which allows us Apple users of most versions to add a button or even nicer a little center rectangle which and some of the Apple Watch faces can give space status or like it could have three little buttons saying stop start or EMERGENCY. (1) One small issue I have with the application is although you bring up a quick notification on the top of the screen, giving the status that the engine is on, and that the car is active. It will be nice since you have these icons on another dashboard that would maybe just pop up and stay lit I know a red or some other color you know or have a sign of the Maserati emblem glow or something instead of just being black and white so we could see it in a moment because it doesn’t always log the stuff to the notifications on the iphone (in my case, I am using an iPhone 13 Pro Max with the latest operating system. My wife has A LATE MODEL, MASERATI GHIBLI, (iphone 15 ultra) AND HAS THE SAME ISSUES THE ONE ABOVE AND THE ONE I’M ABOUT TO EXPLAIN SO IT’S NOT THE CAR BOTH HAVE BEEN FLASHED AS I THINK THE TERM IS UPDATED AUTOMATICALLY BY THEMSELVES SO THEY HAVE THE LATEST FIRMWARE. (2) the only way you can operate this application is by going to the settings menu, which requires you to do a couple of moves, including a button, turning the crown, depending on where it is, etc. All the other applications, most of them by reputable companies, such as yourselves have complication, icons or read out sometimes for the bigger displays they have a center three line box which could be used to give like status, etc. like you were on the actual phone. I have tried several ways of getting to that, but it just does not work, There’s no other way to get to it, but you have to scroll through to settings no matter how you slice it. That’s the only way to access it, which is awkward especially since APPLE did away with the DOCK feature and replaced it with a mini dock which can be found and one other section, the problem is again that the mini dock uses the same API I believe that is in or is used for the complications on the faces and so it doesn’t accept it when you press plus it does not list that. Note: I don’t believe this is an issue with the WATCH itself. I know APPLE limits what API is. They give the developers versus Android and giving free rain to the various developers like FOSSIL and SAMSUNG for their watches. Because as I said, the complications those little buttons and indicators that are available to push on the face are the same ones that are on the dock so they use the same API this is probably a flag or something that’s not been enabled as a former third-party Apple programmer. I know you don’t often make updates to this application, but I would recommend you keep pace with the technology and you’re doing a very good job of it for the most part. I will also send this to the tech-support so they know. I have an Apple Watch Ultra 49 mm and also a 45 mm series 8 watch. Both are riding the ladies version which is 10.5 I believe and both with the same issues. Hopefully, you can rectify this soon because I only discovered the usefulness of the application recently. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2024-03-13, version 1.83.4* it simply doesn't work. My door was slightly open and it drained the battery with a quickness. Now the vehicle has to be towed to the dealership. The Lexus app provides an abundance of car notifications. One phone call to customer services took care of it right away. The locate button on the top right of the screen next to cancel button always fails to update the location on my iPhone 13 with the latest IOS as of 7/10/2023. But when I go down to the locations map on the screen and hit refresh it works without exception. This is why I give it one star to get your attention. I cannot do the following things with Maserati Connect, which I can do via the apps for my BMW and Volvo (which both cost $50K+ less new): confirm doors locked/unlocked status live, determine if doors are open, determine if windows are up or down, flash lights, open trunk, set climate control temperature prior to remote start, view VIN/service information, and create/view service appointments. All I can do is send lock/unlock and remote start commands, set certain alerts (speed, valet, boundary and curfew) and look at cryptic “health reports” which provide no substantive information aside from whether or not certain warning lights are on. Maserati provides no live status updates on what the car is doing like you get from pretty much everyone else - just commands sent into space. Remote engine start might have been “successfully sent” - if I’m not standing right next to the car, how do I know if the engine is actually running and how much time I have before it shuts off? These things absolutely count and are noticed in absentia when you spend this kind of money on a vehicle. Maserati servers also regularly seem to be down which makes the picture of my car go away and prevents the “health reports” from updating. “Stolen vehicle alerts” is also an extra paid subscription…? For the price of the car, all features should be included for life - or at least for as long as the first owner keeps the car. I have had to deal with Maserati AT&T and now Bell Canada and still no connectivity.. It has been over three weeks now with this constant frustration. I I sell audio devices for high-end automobiles, such as the Maserati Ferrari, Aston, Martin, and Lamborghini. I have faced embarrassment when I’m trying to display music players in my car, the Levante and lost two clients already.. these are expensive audio players, and they are supposed to match perfectly with the type of automobile they are presented with. I am extremely disappointed with this situation and I never want to deal with Maserati Connect again. No one seems to be able to correct this lack of Wi-Fi issue. I have exhausted every possible resource.. ### 1/5 — Maserati (inconsistently) Connect(s) should be the name… *2024-07-02, version 1.83.4* Down grading my review because many of the bugs identified in 2022 remain unfixed in 2024! The Maserati Connect iOS application is a nice 1.0 version of a smart phone app. But for a luxury vehicle valued >$100k it doesn’t not meet the standards of quality, power, convenience, and luxury that the Maserati brand stands for. Many of the “issues” reported about the app, also apply to their browser-based web application and Alexa skill integration. 1) Maserati Connect (iOS login security) MC frequently forgets (looses/deletes/whatever) the face login setting. This happens every few weeks. 2) Maserati Connect (Alexa skill) Somewhere between Alexa executing the command to remotely lock the car doors, and the car acting on the command, something happens. Result: your car remains unlocked. 3) Car Status (missing features) Fuel level, tire pressure, odometer and engine/system health information is available, but the following is not: a) are doors locked ? b) are windows rolled up / roof open? c) is the back open or ajar? 4) Remote Operations (missing features) a) turn on the heated/cooled seats when you remotely start the engine b) open or close windows or sunroof c) enable/disable/silence the car alarm d) automatically lock doors when the device running the Maserati Connect application’s GPS coordinate change from the vehicle’s parked GPS coordinates Lastly, the Maserati Connect is not really a free iOS app. It requires a subscription to the Maserati Connect Services, which after the initial trial period cost several hundred dollars. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on a year old used Quattro *2024-06-21, version 1.83.4* I find it ridiculous that only the original owner of a car can use the app. I’ve been all over online and there’s no way to get a welcome email. Unless you were the original owner from the Maserati dealership.
