Dear Mashriq Digital Bank and Pakistan Up Team,
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the way my issue has been handled. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever faced

For the past 20 days, I have been unable to complete my email verification. I have repeatedly tried to resolve the issue through the available channels, including sending emails and submitting complaints, but I have received no meaningful response or resolution.

What is even more disappointing is that my emails and complaints appear to be completely ignored. As an overseas Pakistani, I trusted Mashriq Pakistan and made the decision to open an account with your service. Unfortunately, this experience has made me seriously question that decision.

I should not have to spend 20 days trying to get a basic email-verification issue resolved. If customers cannot receive a response to their complaints, then what support is actually available to them?

The new mandatory biometric login requirement with no alternative login options has completely ruined the mobile banking experience. My current device has biometric option built in but broken. And there’s no alternative login options. Not even two factor authentication or anything. I can’t even access my account on my phone anymore. Updates should improve the banking experience, not make it a pain.

My deposit always missing

The app and overall banking experience are very confusing. The design is not intuitive, and even simple things are difficult to find. You can eventually figure it out, but it takes far more time than it should.

The biggest problem, however, is customer support. It is almost impossible to reach a real person. I have been trying for two days without success. Everything seems designed to make you give up or force you to visit a branch in person.

I don’t know if other banks in the UAE are better, but I am 100% dissatisfied with Mashreq and cannot recommend it based on my experience.

I have tried more than 10 times to create an account, but it still doesn’t work. I have already activated my credit card, yet I am unable to create an account through either the app or the website.

I also tried calling customer support. Unfortunately, there was no response or resolution. One thing I did notice is that, even without solving my issue, I still receive calls about loan offers.

I spoke to two credit card representatives and explained the problem to both of them. They assured me that they would escalate the issue, but I have not received any update or response.

I also reached out through Instagram, but I did not receive a clear or helpful response.

What am I supposed to do if I am unable to make my payment on time because I cannot access my account? I do not want to be held responsible for late payment charges when I have made every effort to resolve this issue.

I kindly request that someone contact me as soon as possible and help resolve this matter.

I had to take an urgent flight to see my husband, I transferred money from my savings account to my current account. It’s been hours, i have been trying to reach them, only some some virtual assistance is there and it’s repeating same thing over and over again and there is no customer representative with whom i can speak with. I am stuck, my funds are not showing even though it says transferred and even deducted from my savings account and not visible in my current account. Poor service and banking system, very disappointing.
