## What is Masjid Bilal?

Masjid Bilal is a public community application and does not require a user account or login.

The app provides live prayer and iqamah times, next-prayer countdowns, Jumu’ah information, Hijri dates, announcements, events, classes, media, community resources, volunteering information, optional notifications, widgets, and a companion Apple Watch app.

Prayer information is synchronized with the production Masjid Bilal backend using the America/Edmonton timezone.

Some newly introduced community modules may display a coming-soon or empty state until approved content is published by Masjid Bilal administrators.

Push notifications and prayer alerts are optional and require user permission.

To review the Apple Watch experience, install Masjid Bilal on a paired Apple Watch. The Watch app provides next-prayer information, countdowns, daily prayer schedules, Jumu’ah information, Hijri information, community highlights, and supported complications.

No login credentials are required for review.
