## What is Masked?

Giving AI a real log, support ticket, or client screenshot is fast. Removing every API key, phone number, and order ID by hand is not — and one missed detail can expose data you never meant to share.

Masked finds sensitive information before your material leaves the device. Review the results, create a new safe copy, then share it with ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI tool.

Skip the awkward workarounds:
• Clean text and prompts without copying them into Notes for line-by-line replacement.
• Scan screenshots and faces without repeatedly painting over each image by hand.
• Process TXT, Markdown, LOG, JSON, CSV, source code, and configuration files in batches instead of cleaning and exporting them one at a time.

Keep context while removing risk:
• Detect emails, phone numbers, IP addresses, order IDs, API keys, tokens, JWTs, and more.
• Replace text with clear placeholders, or blur, pixelate, and cover selected image areas.
• Correct false matches and manually add anything automatic detection missed.
• Run detection and cleaning on device; content is not uploaded for scanning.
• Export a new copy without overwriting the original. Image copies can also remove selected or all EXIF metadata.
