The Mass511 app is the Massachusetts Department of Transportation's official traffic and traveler information app. The Mass511 app, new and improved in 2022, provides up-to-date traffic information for interstates, U.S. routes and state highways across Massachusetts. I didn’t see any info explaining how to add a location on the app but it must be an option as there is a tab where they can be added telling me i should add one :-) **Developer response:** Sorry for the confusion. We appreciate the feedback and are continuing to improve the app to make this clearer and easier to use. Locations can be favorited from the search results screen when you are logged in to your account. Tap the search button at the bottom of the screen and perform a route, place, or roadway search, for example “Boston, MA to Newton, MA.” The screen will update with a map view of your search, and below the “Show Results” arrow you should see a favorite button. Tapping that button will allow you to save the location to your favorites. Interestingly, an account is not required to use the Mass511 app, including the map. We're hoping you can provide some additional information in case there's a bug we need to fix. I knew the road in Lunenburg was closed 12/18/23 and needed to return 12/19. Google map was ambiguous where 511 showed no issues!! I checked periodically as my time to leave approached. Google maps showed “lane closure” but still 511 showed all ok! Google was right! Uninstalled 511….. **Developer response:** Thank you for your comments.
