I haven’t been able to swipe credit cards for a month due to what MB says is a Square issue. Processing them manually costs more in fees, so it’s not just additional work and looking unprofessional, it’s PAYING MORE as well. Although this apparently has affected many users there have been no notifications or updates and my last email to support on Thursday still has not been answered (5 days ago). MB has less problems than it used to but I can’t say it has ever worked well for long enough for me to recommend it to someone. ### 4/5 — Great, phone access for reviews please *2026-08-11, version 3.5.0* Everything works well except I must access reviews from my laptop, not my phone. That needs to be fixed! Also, need a safeguard where people can schedule within 2 hours of my business hours, not a 24 hour period. The appearance of the site for scheduling is clunky and needs a makeover. Having the option for clients to schedule before calling ahead would be nice. If this integrated better with Wix it would be great too. Overall people seem to understand how to schedule and I like how easy it is on manager end for booking. I called the therapist that my friend recommended to me and I mentioned my problems. She is very nice she was like sure I can help you. And that she did. She has such a beautiful personality. I feel so much better. Now I can go without pain for a week at a time. I do have to stay consistent weekly. One day completely disappeared after I manually added three clients. Love the app expect for that…. ### 2/5 — Poor time management *2026-01-29, version 2.34.0* The client intake forms do not allow you to just edit, hit save, and move on with the other tasks, like sending an intake form or writings the birthdate etc. instead once you hit save it exits you so you have to go back and pull them up again. When writing a note, if you want to transfer the previous note, the note you just previously note on another client comes up so you have to exit and pull up the new note again and transfer data. The waitlist messaging is a pain and makes mistakes all the time, like sending an appointment out it should not have. It’s so frustrating. I would check the box because they take like 20% of your fee and somehow the box keeps getting unchecked and I keep getting charged these fees so I will be switching to Acuity. ### 1/5 — Soap note reminders *2026-05-02, version 3.0.1* I’m still getter no soap note reminders for a client I already entered soap notes for. ### 1/5 — Scheduling reminders are very sketchy. Over time, though, it’s become more frustrating than helpful. It’s not terrible—but it’s definitely not what it used to be. A big issue is that clients often can’t see my availability, which forces me to schedule appointments manually. That completely defeats the purpose of offering online booking in the first place. The payout system is another pain point. MassageBook Pay (inot Stripe) regularly takes several days—sometimes up to five—to deposit funds. Payout dates change without warning, and instant payouts, which used to work flawlessly, suddenly became “not eligible” on the exact same card and account that still work perfectly through Stripe itself. At this point, the main reason we haven’t switched platforms is the SOAP notes. MassageBook still handles documentation well, and we haven’t found another platform that matches that feature set at a similar price. too many issues with the updates that need fixed ### 1/5 — Membership glitch *2026-02-20, version 2.35.0* Still haven’t fixed membership glitch it’s been 3 months on the to do list per your customer service ### 1/5 — Was recommended the top app for LMT *2026-01-26, version 2.33.0* I downloaded the app but there was no way to sign in. So I made an account through the web page but when I try to sign in on the app, it says it’s for business owners and service providers. I am a new business owner, but there’s nowhere I can see to sign up for a subscription.
