## What is Massward?

Absorb everything smaller. Outrun everything bigger. Then survive the Apex.

MASSWARD is a solo arena-growth roguelite. Steer through a living swarm, absorb smaller cells, and stay clear of the orange hunters built to swallow you. Split to lunge for a risky takedown, dodge the viruses that shatter you once you get big, and hold enough mass to survive each phase.

Every depth raises the pressure. Calm gives you room to farm. The Hunt sends predators scaled to your current size. Then the Apex arrives: a bigger, faster boss with a readable charge that rewards timing, positioning, and nerve. Evade it or absorb it to reach the next depth.

BUILD A STRONGER CELL
Draft mutagens mid-run, then spend earned biomass and mutagen shards on permanent mutations between runs. A stronger start helps, but no build replaces steering well, splitting with intent, and reading danger early.
