## What is Master sudoku step by step?

Sudoku Trainer is a calm place to learn sudoku — and then keep playing it forever.

The app teaches eleven solving techniques one at a time, with guided walk-throughs that show you exactly which cell to look at and why. When you're ready, switch to Play mode for an endless stream of fresh puzzles at the difficulty you choose.

—

TWO WAYS TO PLAY

▸ Practice — Eleven hand-built levels, one per technique. Each puzzle starts as a guided walk-through that highlights the relevant row, column, or box and explains the move in plain language. Then a fresh puzzle of the same technique lets you try it on your own.

▸ Play — Pick a difficulty (Easy, Medium, or Hard) and a brand-new puzzle is generated for you. You have up to ten mistakes per puzzle. The last two are shown in red, so you always know how much room you've got left. Solve, see your time, and start the next one.

—

LEARN THE WAY YOU THINK

Every guided step comes with a contextual explanation that reads the live board and tells you exactly which digits are already placed in the relevant row, column, or 3×3 box — and why the missing digit must go where it does. No memorising notation. The explanations are written in plain language, in English or Russian, and read aloud cleanly.

The techniques you'll learn:
- Full House
- Naked Single
- Hidden Single
- Locked Candidates (Pointing & Claiming)
- Naked Pair, Triple, Quad
- Hidden Pair, Triple, Quad

—

YOUR PROGRESS, IN ONE GLANCE

A GitHub-style activity calendar shows every day you played in the last year. A monthly, yearly, or all-time summary shows your total puzzles, average solve time, and a breakdown of how many Easy, Medium, and Hard games you've finished, plus your practice progress.

If you have iCloud Backup (iPhone, iPad) enabled, your progress is included in your encrypted device backup and restored when you set up a new device.

BUILT WITH RESPECT FOR YOUR PRIVACY

DESIGNED FOR EVERYONE

Built originally for a mother who wanted to learn sudoku properly, the app uses larger text, generous spacing, and high-contrast colours that read well at any age. It's portrait-only, takes up almost no space, and works on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Silicon Macs.

—

Sudoku Trainer is a quiet, friendly puzzle companion. Open the app, take your time, and enjoy the puzzles.
