Or how to *2025-03-09* I went to game center to play with my mom but there were no things that say to play and i interacted with pretty much everything. ### 4/5 — I play this game all the time… *2024-12-10* …and I have for some years now; it is exciting every time (maybe that says more about me than it does about the game). I *do* wish that the game could track percentages of games won by numbers of guesses; that would be a better indicator of skill, as solving with one row indicates only luck, not skill. I am *not* able to activate the ACHIEVEMENTS section; each achievement is locked. If there’s something I’m missing and anyone can point me in the right direction, I’d appreciate it. Adding to my review…. Still not able to activate the ACHIEVEMENTS section; now STATISTICS no longer functions. There is no way to contact the developer. Revising from five stars (because I *really* like the game) to four stars, due to the issues listed above. ### 3/5 — Excellent *2024-11-22, version 3.0* I tried many today and this is the best by far. I saw an old review but you can now see how you played and learn from it. You can also change your pegs before confirming and put down double colour pegs - some versions won’t let you!! Excellent game just like the original x ### 3/5 — Incorrect clues *2024-08-29, version 3.0* I wanted to like this game as it is well presented and easy to place the pegs, unlike other Mastermind clones. However, in one game I quickly discovered the computer's code consisted of three oranges and one blue but it had placed 2 black indicator pegs and 2 white indicator pegs. How on earth can you have two correct colours in the right place and two correct colours in the wrong place, when there are three pegs of the same colour in the code? That's impossible. ### 4/5 — Achievements? *2023-10-20, version 3.0* Great game but what is wrong with the functioning of the ‘Achievements’? I’ve earned 20 hints which means I must have won 200 games but not gained 1 achievement! Links to Facebook and twitter are not working. My two suggestions are. 1) Change the brown peg that match the board Color, for purple; or some other colour. 2) Give the user the option of choosing duplicate Colours is the solution (1-3) In your version, it is an unknown, wether there will be duplicate colours or not. That is one fine option. I have the latest iOS version. Looking at the app version history, it looks like they stopped updating it several years ago. Sheesh! And at the end when you have correctly guessed the colors, instead of just revealing them they put an idiotic “YOU’RE A WINNER” banner on the screen like some ridiculous participation trophy while dimming out the actual goal of seeing the matching colors. Aaarrrhhh! I’d pay them $10 to get rid of this BS and un-ruin the game. 5, because the underlying game is great. But -4 for cluelessly ruining it. ### 1/5 — Stopped working *2017-10-17, version 3.0* Bought last week and it worked well. Now it crashes almost immediately on both my iPhone and iPad ### 1/5 — Pay for colourblind features *2017-01-02, version 2.1* As someone who is heavily colourblind I find it a disgrace that you have to pay £1.50 just to be able to play the game with colourblind features turned on. The touchscreen and buttons were unresponsive and had to wait for my phone to run out of battery and restart itself. I tried this several times but I still can't get rid of it and the only other way to delete an app or game off of an iPhone it to go into settings and delete it that way but Code crusher did not show up. I can't get rid of it. It may be something else that has caused my phone to freeze but it seems unlikely and with so many other almost identical versions of this on the App Store... An acceptable number of ads. Just what I wanted. I've tried other code-breaker-type games that have frustrating because of the number of ads and/or the confusing differences in game play. One app was set up so that I couldn't look at the results after a round ended; it went straight to an ad.
