It simply crashes on startup! Edit: since I paid for it, I installed on my iPad.... this actually launched and let me do quick config. I can see devices, with odd duplicates. I can turn the on/off fro iPad (which I could already do from both Apple Home.app and Bellini Wemo.app)... crashed a bunch of times... now not turning anything on/off. What a mess. Now that I configured on iPad, appleTV app launches and shows devices... hangs or crashes when trying to turn devices on/off. #TotalFail Waste of $1.99 ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2020-10-13* I think it’s just spam **Developer response:** What is spam? If you are having technical issues please don’t hesitate to contact support so we can help you out. ### 1/5 — Not great *2019-10-12* I purchased the WSwitch app which prevented me from moving away from Wemo and Belkin hardware. With WSwitch one person has achieved what an entire large company could not: a reliable useful app that controls switches without long delays or frequent crashes. For a short while (after OS 13 was introduced) WSwitch stopped working. While waiting for it to be fixed I bought MasterSwitch and was sorry i did. Very much like the Wemo app MasterSwitch takes a long time to load and connect with devices. It also is so slow that it’s frustrating to use. The look of the interface IS attractive however. It is also easy to set up. I suggest that anyone unhappy with the Wemo app buy WSwitch and not MasterSwitch. ### 1/5 — Very slow and not many options *2019-02-10* Takes forever to find my smart devices and to do a simple on or off, you have to go into the device and then turn on or off. Not Recommended. *2017-01-18* IOS 10.2 iPhone 6S Plus After multiple attempts I have not even been able to set up the App. Each attempt begins with a lengthy start up with a scrolling message in red about setting up the app, then an offer to bring up the lengthy and confusing Read Me File then an offer for a Quick Set Up. MasterSwitch looks really neat however takes 45-60 sec to act on my devices whereas the other two are within a second or two. I'm looking for help if there's something out there that I can chase - my home router is a single latest generation Apple Time Capsule - I'll be watching for updates... **Developer response:** Did you get a chance to update to the latest version of the app? If you are still having an issue with the app please contact support at http://PepperDogSoft.com. ### 2/5 — So sloooooooowwww *2016-10-21* I downloaded this app because the WeMo app doesn't give me the option to control individual light bulbs when they're in a group. I have one bulb in a group that is in a lamp with a more reflective lampshade so it's significantly brighter than the others. That's not a problem during the day but at night, I need to dim it more than the other 3 bulbs in the room (or turn it off completely). WeMo doesn't give me that option so here I am. While this app does it, it takes forever to control the bulb, sometimes a full 30 seconds or more. I know that doesn't sound like a long time but after hitting the button and waiting ten seconds or so, I don't know if it worked so I try it again. And again. Then 30 seconds to a minute later, my bulb flickers on and off before it finally turns off. I hope WeMo updates their app to control individual bulbs in a group because I'm ready to delete this one. **Developer response:** Did you get a chance to update to the latest version of the app? It found my lights easily and I was able to control my lights within a couple of minutes. Very impressed so far. Hopefully devs continue to support. ### 5/5 — Works well *2017-12-13* Very good app 👏👏👏 the widget screen is amazing ### 5/5 — This app is the answer to WEMO and Hue devices working together! *2017-06-04* Best solution I have found for controlling WEMO plugs with Phillips Hue bulbs! The app detected all devices and connected to the Phillips Hue bridge immediately, automatically, and with no issues encountered. Setting up the buttons had a learning curve, but only because the there are so many customization options. This app and developer succeeds where Belkin and the WEMO app fail. ### 5/5 — Perfect Wemo Control *2017-02-06* This app makes sense of wemo devices by enabling the ability to create a a single screen of dynamic buttons to control your house. ### 5/5 — Wemo for your AppleTV, Apple Watch and all other Apple stuff *2016-05-10* I got this app to control Wemo switches on my Apple TV. Well it does that and a whole lot more! I quickly had all of my Phillips hue lights on my AppleTV as well. Then I noticed that there was a Apple Watch voice control feature! A lot of stuff for two bucks! ### 5/5 — Great Finally found a use for my iPhone 3GS *2015-12-08* Great app that works on all my mobile devices from 3GS to Watch. My iPhone 3GS is no longer a paper weight. I do recommend using the Quick Configuration during initial setup then changing anything afterwards as there are lots of things that can be changed. ### 5/5 — Master switch is So Handy *2015-12-03* Easily customized each button/Device on my phone with an image of my choosing as well as color to represent on off state. Turns devices on and off on my watch by pressing and by using voice control (without having to set up anything). Do allow time (less than 10 minutes for me) for it to find the devices. Only caveat is customize buttons did not display on the watch but the default ones work and it may be a matter of not knowing how to do that yet. Also learned the hard way not to set Switch Mode on the phone (an option to turn an old phone into a Belkin remote ). Glad I took a chance that it would work as the pictures indicated. Update: days later I’m still very happy with it. ### 3/5 — Great Idea but only partially useful *2017-07-30* This app would be great if it could tie together all WeMo, hue & HomeKit devices into one screen for complete control. It ALMOST does this with the exception of some glaring omissions the Honeywell Lyric thermostat being one. Please add thermostat devices along with other HomeKit device types if possible! ### 3/5 — Great app update killed WeMo *2016-11-05* I like this app because I have Philips Hue, GE bulbs and WeMo. I can or could control them all from this one app. Since this update I cannot get it to find my WeMo products, none of them. However, it does not seem compatible with the new philips hue hub.
