## What is Match Up?

Match Up is the off-court half of your tennis game.

It is a complete five-day-a-week strength and conditioning program written for tennis players — three lifting days and two speed-and-agility days, progressed over a four-week block. No guessing what to do in the gym. Open the app, and today's session is already waiting for you.

GUIDED, ONE EXERCISE AT A TIME
Workouts run as a guided flow instead of a wall of text. You see one exercise and one set at a time, with the prescribed sets, reps and rest for the week you are on. Log the set, and the rest timer starts itself. Move forward and back freely, minimize a session to check something and resume exactly where you left off.

LOG THE RIGHT METRIC FOR THE RIGHT MOVEMENT
Not everything is measured in pounds. Match Up asks for the metric that actually fits the exercise: weight in pounds for lifts, inches for box jumps, seconds for timed efforts and sprints, distance for broad jumps, band colour for band work, or nothing at all for pure bodyweight movements. Your log stays honest.

READINESS, NOT GUESSWORK
A daily energy check-in feeds a readiness score built from your recent training load, how hard your last 48 hours were, and how you feel today. Green, yellow or red, with a short coaching cue to match. It is a gauge, not a gate — the program is still the program.

TOURNAMENT PERIODIZATION
Add the tournaments on your calendar and the app works backwards from them, showing you which phase you are in right now — Peak, Taper, Competition or Recovery — on both Home and Schedule. You always know whether this is a week to push or a week to hold back.

PROGRESS THAT MEANS SOMETHING
Personal records are pulled from real lifts you actually logged — never invented. Training volume, sets by weekday, total hours, consistency and earned milestones all come straight from your own history.

A WEEKLY STREAK THAT UNDERSTANDS TENNIS
Two sessions in a week keeps your streak alive. Tournament weeks count automatically, and you get a freeze for the weeks life gets in the way.

WATCH THE DEMO
Not sure what "Landmine SL RDL" looks like? Every exercise has a Watch Demo button that opens a video search so you can check the form before you load the bar.

BUILT AROUND ONE PROGRAM, NOT A CONTENT FIREHOSE
Browse the workout library by category, dig into any session's full exercise breakdown, and see the week-by-week theme of each program before you enrol. Every exercise is tagged with what it buys you on court — split step power, serve acceleration, lateral quickness, backhand torque, baseline endurance, injury protection.

YOUR HISTORY IS BACKED UP
Create a private account and your program, sessions, tournaments and streak sync to the cloud automatically. Change phones and your training history is still there. The app works offline and catches up when you are back online.

Match Up is for tennis players who already know the court work matters — and are ready to make the gym work count too.

Match Up is a training and fitness app, not a medical device. Consult a physician before starting any new exercise program.
