Matchabook is a journal made for matcha lovers. From the day you open a tin, it helps you record every gram, every note, and every best-by date — and gently reminds you to "drink this one first" before it's past its prime.

Snap a photo, pick the label, and note the date acquired, net weight, and opening date. A built-in catalog of 120+ meisho from 11 storied Japanese makers — Marukyu Koyamaen, Ippodo, Ryuoen, Kanbayashi Shunsho, Nakamura Tokichi and more. Can't find yours? Add it in seconds.

■ Log every bowl in one tap
Usucha, koicha, matcha latte, or dessert — record how many grams you used with a single tap. See what's left in the tin and how many days since opening at a glance.

■ Never miss a date
Matchabook works out the best-enjoyed window after opening and the best-before date while sealed, then sends a gentle reminder the number of days ahead you choose.

■ Home Screen widgets at a glance
Bring your matcha to the Home Screen. Freshness Countdown shows how many days the most urgent tin has left and adds a new tin in one tap; Matcha Shelf lists several tins at once — tap a row for details, tap the pencil to quickly log usage, and choose your sort order.

Now defaulting to a fresh matcha green, with Grounded Earth, Soft Berry, Classic Ink, Quiet Mauve, Vintage Parchment, and Warm Rose to switch to (Pro).

■ Photo carry-over by variety
Once you've photographed a matcha, new tins of the same variety automatically reuse your photo — no need to reshoot. Want a new look? Swap the photo on any tin and save, and that variety's photo updates too.

■ Thumbnails in the variety picker
Spot your favorites at a glance.

Every photo is one you take or add yourself — we never bundle official product images. As always, everything stays on your device, no login.
