## What is Matchbox?

MATCHBOX is a camera tool for creating match cut, hyperlapse and stop motion videos. Pick a shape, go find it in the world, and shoot. Every photo fills the same shape with a different subject. Export as a rapid-fire video that links your discoveries together. Use the cross hair tool to line up a perfect hyperlapse. No editors, no AI, just pure creativity. 

HOW IT WORKS

Choose a shape overlay - circle, square, triangle, face, portrait, figure, crosshair, or corner. Position it on the camera, lock it in place, and start shooting. Each photo captures a different subject through the same shape. When you're done, export as a video or GIF.

SHAPES

12 shape overlays including geometric shapes, a face outline, and a full body silhouette. 4 animated shapes that grow automatically with each shot - perfect for reveal effects. Pinch to resize, drag to reposition, lock when you're happy.

CAMERA

Full manual control. Switch between ultra-wide, wide, and telephoto lenses. Pinch to zoom. Lock white balance to keep colours consistent across shots. Front camera support for selfies.

EXPORT

Export as video (1080p or 4K HEVC) or GIF. Choose 9:16, 1:1, or 16:9 aspect ratios. Set frame speed from 50ms to 1 second. Loop up to 10x with optional bounce. Quadrant mode splits each frame into quarters from different photos for a kaleidoscopic effect. Share directly to Instagram Reels, TikTok, or anywhere.
