I really appreciate the team’s swift response to investigate and it shows they take feedback seriously. They are there, working, and really put in the effort to keep the platform safe. Cos some other apps have a non-existent backend. This is the first app I have seen that takes care of customers complain. If you notice any scams from any member, just a single report kicks that profile off the platform and that’s a good step to keeping it clean and free from scammers. Guys, grab it. ### 5/5 — sooo user-intuitive!!! *2026-06-04, version 2.0.8* whatever it is, please stay safe. the safety features are in place but please avoid shady profiles and report/block when needed! straightforward setup, user intuitive design. face verification completed with 30 minutes, and i was able to access full functionality of the app! i personally liked the dark mode setting, but would love a different colour palette to make scrolling profiles more addictive. i found the mentorship aspect refreshing, as well as options for platonic relationships. i hope this gets further established, and would follow closely with this. however, i do wish they have the blocking option of specific words, like other social media platforms. i understand that one aspect of setting up profiles would be privacy, but i believe expanding the profile set up to be more than just tags with a high level of personalisation (with quotes, niche interests, questions and answers) would make profiles more appealing! overall, interesting app and idea. excited to see what it evolves into!! ### 5/5 — Overall good experience *2026-06-03, version 2.0.8* Felt like putting myself out there and meet new people, saw this app widely popularised and promoted by influencers so decided to jump the bandwagon. Would say the best selling points were the privacy functions this app possesses (the ability to access/revoke secondary profile images to others). Generally fast and easy set-up, people i’ve met so far are chill and pleasant just need to be wary of scammers sometimes. ### 5/5 — great and safe platform to connect for woman 🤍 *2026-06-02, version 2.0.8* im 20, and i just started MC, its been good to find other indivduals who are looking for low maintenance friendship or just dinner dates together or even mentorship! rlly appreciate the privacy of this app. It cld be a fun date if you match with someone and yall align. just joined 10days ago and ive met up with one. he has good mannerisms and is charming, just like how he is in the picture😆. features on app allow you to block or report if they happen to cross boundaries or harass you. but for now enjoy mc! hope u catch a meaningful connection ### 5/5 — expensive but worth it *2026-06-01, version 2.0.8* was wondering what all the hype was about on this matchcatch app. saw influencers who kept promoting it and eventually decided to try. frankly the membership prices are on the higher side so I was a bit hesitant. but because of no swiping and no ads, decided to give it a try. went on 2 dates in a month, was hoping for a few more as I messaged quite a few women but at least the ladies I met were close to what their profile photos looked like. hoping to meet more ladies next month as I will be extending the membership subscription. have asked the team if they could extend any goodwill discount for longer terms but they said prices are fixed as per what is displayed on the membership page, and $700+ for 6 months is quite high but I was happy to know that they assured me that they do not sell our data. also satisfied with some features such as we are unable to take screenshots so at least our privacy is safeguarded. overall a pretty good app with helpful customer support. looking forward to what new features are coming out next. ### 5/5 — A fun and exciting application *2026-05-28, version 2.0.8* MatchCatch feels different from swipe-based dating apps because it is more focused on intentional connections. For first time users, I think the discover page can be overwhelming, showing 6-8 profiles at once when you are scrolling. It feels a bit like online shopping instead of a dating app. It’s also heterosexual, only allowing women to view men and men to view women, so lgbtq community, u may not feel included here. The privacy and security features are useful, but the naming system is not very secure because I’ve seen a few profiles named after fruits already. But there are also a lot of scammers on it. It’s also strange that right on the same day my subscription expires, I get messages and photo requests for a lot more kpeople than usual. I hope this is not some kind of a way to push customers to subscribe again. Either using bots or just organic matches but amplified after a subscription has expired. Also, there’s no way to delete my account directly from the app. Filling out a form for account deletion has no effect. No one reaches out to confirm deletion. Can the deletion be made same as any other app? I’m literally super uncomfortable at this rate to even try. I used a game character profile picture and was denied, and this app is not just a dating app but for friendship too so using a game character picture is wrong now ? What if there’s people whom DONT want to use their picture or look for romance but maybe a gaming buddy ?? And that digital ID… Never been this turned off by an app so quickly I uninstalled immediately. ### 1/5 — Super scam *2026-03-05* The app is full of fake users or the algo is modified to ‘create’ engagement as your subscription is ending and then more so once it ends. All the sudden you get many people requesting to view your photos and write messages to you, that you then need to resubscribe to read…and when you reply suddenly there are no more replies. Cannot recommend, better platforms for this are out there. **Developer response:** Thank you for the direct feedback, and we want to answer it just as directly. MatchCatch does not use fake accounts, does not manipulate engagement around subscription timing, and never delays message delivery. Every message, photo request, and reply comes from a real user. On the surge after your Membership ended: Member privacy and notification controls stop applying at that point, so if Incognito Mode or certain activity settings were active, your profile becomes visible to more real users again. More visibility means more views, photo requests, and messages. You also still receive notifications about that activity even though reading messages requires Membership, and we understand that can feel like a push to resubscribe. On replies going quiet: by the time you resubscribed and replied, days or weeks may have passed since those messages were sent, and people often move on in that gap. Replies are never guaranteed, here or on any platform. Women complete face verification before they can appear on Discover or interact, and our team reviews reports and suspicious behaviour. Some 39 year old named ZJY with a pic covering his face with a 😀 emoji started harassing me, calling me foul names for rejecting his offer of 500 to sleep with him. Called me a sl*t, ironic because he was the one sleeping with randoms he found online. Having money to pay for membership doesnt mean they have basic courtesy. Please be careful ladies. Everything else is behind a very expensive subscription/paywall. That means you can’t even chat or reply to messages. Watch as this review will receive a bot reply, saying that the app only provides authentic users and that i should opt to sub to fully utilize the app ### 1/5 — Customer service is bad *2025-07-26, version 1.5.6* My account got disabled with the reason citing that they received multiple reports but didn’t disclose it. And this is the exact message as quoted from them ‘we have received multiple reports against your account. Please be advised that we are unable to assist with your continued usage of MatchCatch.’ I didn’t even respond to the messages I’ve received cause most of them were ONS and PPM. I’ve even emailed them back telling them to even check my account but they continued to ignore my email and didn’t even listen to my part of the story. ### 2/5 — Terrible UI/UX *2025-11-23, version 1.7.6* the experience of being on the app itself is fine, but would it honestly kill you to make the touch area of the back button bigger?? When I try to click back on a profile, it clicks on the photo instead. When I try to open a chat, it goes to the profile instead. And because people get notified when someone views their profile, it’s honestly kind of annoying. Also, there are no prompts or bio or description or any chance for people to personalise their profile. So it’s just photos and pre selected answers for categories like hobbies? I thought being on a dating app was hard enough but now I’m just looking at a bunch of “metrics” to decide if I should talk to someone or not. ### 3/5 — Dying app and quality of service *2026-02-01, version 1.8.7* Is the app dying ?
