What's New in Matched Point
5.0.5
July 16, 2026
Matched Point has been rebuilt across the court. What’s new: • A cleaner, more premium visual system across Home, Search, Groups, Teams, Leagues, Chat, Profile, Match Details, onboarding, filters, action sheets, alerts, and bottom navigation. • Light and dark theme support with centralized visual tokens for a more consistent experience throughout the app. • Redesigned player discovery with a compact grid layout, improved player cards, sport badges, and better native ad placement. • New glass-style cards and refreshed layouts across league, group, team, match, profile, and notification-style surfaces. • Updated Matched Point branding, logo, and app icon assets. • Smoother main-tab motion with directional transitions. Multi-sport foundation: • Matched Point now includes the foundation for tennis and pickleball support in one app. • Added sport preferences during onboarding and profile setup. • Added sport-aware ratings, search, groups, teams, leagues, match creation, and scoring behavior. • Added record-level sport accents so tennis and pickleball items are easier to distinguish. • Improved pickleball visibility and filtering paths during internal QA. Match and team improvements: • Match players can now submit scores with a side-confirmation workflow. • Score submissions support approval, dispute, and confirmation handling. • Non-league team matches can now support external opponents and score entry without requiring those opponents to be registered teams or players. Profile and account polish: • Refreshed Edit Profile, Match Statistics, Invite History, Blocked Players, Settings, Subscription, and About/legal surfaces. • Improved app version/build display using native package metadata. • Fixed Blocked Players population issues. This release is a major polish and foundation update: cleaner screens, stronger navigation, better score workflows, and the groundwork for Matched Point’s multi-sport future.
