Reinstalled and no change. ### 1/5 — Good But Not Good *2024-05-31* This app has potential. It started out good. I was getting booked for my show. Then I started getting error messages saying the app sent an invalid request. And now I can’t log in, and I’m being told to contact the developer about the problem. After reading other reviews I see this app has been having problems for years. Seems to me it’s worthless. The developers aren’t trying to improve it from what I can see ### 1/5 — Have been waiting for so long.. *2023-07-11* Found this app right around 2018 or so, thought it had promise. Issues with number of users and lack of scheduling features. Now 5 years later, and the product is worse. App is constantly glitching out. I am not able to contact connections even on the site. Keep getting locked out. I tried to bring this onboard a national radio station in the UK to help source morning show guests - but it was so unreliable I had to retract my endorsement. It’s like the developers don’t even care that this could literally be the best app on the planet. That or they don’t get it. Someone will take their lunch soon, and it will be nobodies fault but their own. Feels like a huge missed opportunity to build the foundation for positive online collaboration. **Developer response:** Hi Toso, Thanks for your review. Thanks MatchMaker.fm ### 1/5 — Login issues *2023-03-04* Repeated uninstalls and reinstalls, and still the app will not remember my login info and counties to try and log me in with an alternative email account. Completely jacked up. ### 1/5 — Inaccessible *2021-05-06* Attempting to use the app or website with voiceover for the blind is impossible. You can start the sign-up process but you can’t verify yourself using assistive technology. You can’t even click the “help“ button. It’s 2021. ### 1/5 — Good in theory *2021-04-24* App will not accept my email to sign in to my account. **Developer response:** Hi there, That doesn’t seem right. When signing in to the app you are actually signing in to our website as usual so your email address linked to your account will work. Please check to make sure you are using your account email address, not the one set up to receive notification emails. Thanks. ### 2/5 — Disappointing. *2023-06-30* I paid for an annual subscription and the app fails to deliver currently. I get nothing but a white screen when I want to view a prospective guest’s profile. And I can’t even book a guest on here as well as on the browser. The booking link was removed recently on browser as Matchmaker FM said that they were making improvements to that. I wish they can refund me and other customers for the months they failed on their features. **Developer response:** Hi Jonnyroobs, Thanks for your review. We have recently updated bookings to make it more flexible as most users utilise their own booking services. Now mainstream booking services are supported and links can be sent directly to prospective guests/shows. This allow opens the ability to provide feedback on your booking which will help with future product features. Regarding the white screen, this issue has been fixed in the latest version of the iOS App, The team is focussing on bringing feature parity between the web app and iOS companion app throughout the next few months. Thanks MatchMaker.fm ### 3/5 — Buggy *2023-06-15* The service itself is good but this app is incredibly buggy, slow and often unusable. It will often take minutes to load, and lately when attempting to look at a potential guest’s profile it just displays a white screen and nothing happens. It’s always been very, very slow to load pages but it’s now simply unusable. This app needs a lot of optimization. It also really bothers me that as a paid user that I still do not have the ability to categorize messages or to actually archive them but keep them for later. As it is now it says “archive “ but all it does is delete them. I love the service but they need to advance the platform and focus on UX improvements. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review fuelbytea, Regarding the white screen, this issue has been fixed in the latest version of the iOS App, The team is focussing on bringing feature parity between the web app and iOS companion app throughout the next few months. This includes performance improvements surrounding search speed. Other improvements around the inbox are currently in development. These will be available on the web app first then shortly make their way to mobile. Their app is a great extension of this and will make replying to potential contributors much easier and more efficient.
