Practise everything from basic calculations to long addition, long subtraction, long multiplication, and long division. A step by step grid view shows carries, borrows, and partial products so children can understand the method, not just the answer.

Math Basics now speaks Arabic, our 22nd language and the first that reads right to left. The whole app mirrors to match: the menus, the statistics, the parent dashboard and every practice screen. Numbers stay left to right, exactly as they are written in Arabic too.

Schools in Arabic-speaking countries teach sums both ways, so a parent can choose. In Settings, pick whether equations read right to left or left to right, and every screen follows.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-08-10

Fractions can now be subtracted! The new Subtract mode takes away fractions that share a denominator, and the pizza picture shows exactly what is happening: the slices being taken away are shaded on the first pizza, so what stays behind is the answer.

Children type just the numerator, since the shared denominator is already filled in, and every answer comes out as a positive fraction, never negative and never zero.

Fractions addition has arrived! The new Addition mode pairs fractions that share a denominator, shows each one as pizza slices, and has children type the answer with the shared denominator already filled in.
