### 2/5 — My review

*2024-01-30, version 3.5.0*

Great to have the two player function. Works well for addition and subtraction.Multiplication doesn’t work that well. Would be better if you could say what timestable you want it to focus on, rather than going through all the lower ones as it currently does.

### 2/5 — Disappointing update.

*2020-08-08*

Why has the ability to differentiate been taken away? You can only move the bar by tens now rather than ones.

**Developer response:** This has been fixed now! Thanks for bringing it up.

### 3/5 — New update not supported on older ipads

*2020-07-19*

My family loved this app. My youngest who used this app the most, uses an ipad that no longer gets updates from Apple. It would be great if this app could work on older iPads as many schools and families are trying to get the most out of this very expensive technology.

### 3/5 — Really nice but...

*2018-11-08*

Cant even play the game cause it keeps crashes

### 3/5 — Ok

*2018-11-03*

I like it but it is a little boring

### 4/5 — Great fact practice

*2016-04-06*

This is great for kids to practice math facts. I like it as an alternative to daily time tests, but the settings button needs to be moved. Kids can easily bump it and it resets their score, causing them to have to restart:(

### 5/5 — Really good

*2014-05-10*

Works perfectly and is easy play

### 5/5 — Awsome for my kids to learn maths!

*2014-04-19*

Wow!

### 5/5 — Great for the classroom

*2014-04-15, version 2.0*

I think this will be great for my students to review their facts with some healthy competition to be the first one to win the game. I like the two player/split screen idea.

### 3/5 — Alright

*2014-04-14*

Nice, but should have a button to go back to the menu, an option to give both opponent's the same problems (makes the game more fair), a button to restart in the menu, a button to match the settings between both players easily, and an option of how many more questions than the opponent must be solved to win.

### 4/5 — Great game but.....

*2014-04-13, version 2.0*

This is a great game, but am I overlooking a pause or stop button. Does the player(s) really just have to let the timer run down when they want to stop play?

### 5/5 — Great

*2014-02-20*

Must download for you education apps folder.

### 5/5 — Great for all ages

*2013-12-06, version 2.0*

This is a wonderful app! My son is in 3rd grade and loves math. He plays against his dad and brother to improve his speed in math.

### 5/5 — Single player mode is fantastic

*2013-12-03, version 2.0*

As an adult I figured I had this math thing figured out - but Math Duel shows that even though I once knew my multiplication tables all the way to 12, I now can barely get past 6*12.

Great game for adults and children alike.

### 1/5 — Math duel review

*2023-11-05*

Just downloaded this and there seems to be no ability to change which operation or differentiation like it says you can. Just continues with addition and does not have the ability to change to subtraction, multiplication (which is what I wanted) or division!

**Developer response:** Hey'a Sunnycoast Teacher! Thanks for trying out Math Duel! It does support different operations, like multiplication, subtraction, or division! While playing the game, tap on the cog (settings) icon in the calculator interface, and you'll see many options for customizing each player's settings! Hope that helps. - Erik

### 1/5 — They ruined a great app

*2020-05-13*

Why did you make the smallest number in units of 10? How can we practice up to 12 times tables when it’s 10 or 20. A kid doesn’t know 18x17. Bring back increments of 1 up to at least 12 please

**Developer response:** Sorry about that - This was fixed in a previous update. Thanks for reporting it

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2018-11-13*

This app keeps crashing in the middle of a game. Please fix his because we used to love this app.

### 1/5 — Needs updated

*2018-10-31*

Love this app, but it keeps crashing.

### 1/5 — Not 2 player & has ads despite costing $4.49. AVOID!

*2017-02-25*

This is NOT a two player app. Check the images in the app description. The game is the same. ONE PLAYER ONLY!
Also contains advertising despite being a paid app. It's hot garbage. Avoid it.
I prefer paid games to free ones (you get what you pay for) but the first screen on this paid app loaded with an ad. For another game. One I've NO interest in.

I've given the makers $4.99 so as to not have to have garbage spamming my user experience.

Total fail. Just get a free app instead; you're stuck with crappy ads ruining the experience anyway; why pay for the displeasure? Did I mention it's a SINGLE player app?

### 1/5 — Why can't the developers spell MATHS properly?

*2014-09-14, version 2.0*

Why can't the developers spell MATHS properly?

### 1/5 — Really?

*2013-10-09, version 1.3.0*

Where are the decimal points or fractions?

### 1/5 — Integer division?

*2013-10-09, version 1.3.0*

There is no decimal point. Integer division can be useful, but not when trying to learn basic math. Also, "teens and adults" would probably need to practice things like x^2-4x+4=0, or d/dt(-9.81t^2). This app only does the four basic functions, which literally any calculator can do for you.
Additionally, quick inputs are impossible. Try typing 11 at a reasonable speed and you get 1.

### 1/5 — 2/3=0...REALLY??

*2013-10-08, version 1.3.0*

Seems like a good game until one realizes that it asks division questions such as 2 / 3 and expects the answer to be 0 (or 9/6 = 1), since it rounds down when calculating the answer. Nice way to teach math!

### 1/5 — Good game but don't work that well

*2013-05-30, version 1.2.0*

I paid 4 this game and the 1st time my son played it the game keep cutting off !!!!!!

This App is great, you get to change the amount of time you have and what type of math you want to do! It's really fun to play against other people, but I really do recommend putting a duel on phones too. After all, it is called math duel!🙈

### 5/5 — Only app I have found for advanced (3+ digits) mental math

*2016-08-25*

If you want to practice complex mental math for adults beyond the typical 1 or 2 digit questions, this is the best I've found.
