## What is Math Gallery?

Explore mathematical ideas through Japanese stories and interactive diagrams.

LANGUAGE
The app interface, stories and explanations are in Japanese. This English page describes the Japanese-language app.

36 STORIES
Explore the Pythagorean theorem, circle area, the Euclidean algorithm, pi, quadratic functions, derivatives, the Monty Hall problem, the birthday paradox, prime numbers, Fibonacci numbers, similarity, inscribed angles, the pigeonhole principle, one-stroke paths and average speed. Browse by school level or subject.

PREDICT, EXPERIMENT, UNDERSTAND
Choose a prediction, move a diagram, read the reasoning, explore a more advanced idea, then try a practice question. Each story has five sections you can follow at your own pace. Your chosen prediction appears as you continue, so you can compare it with the explanation.

STEP-BY-STEP DIAGRAMS
Practice questions include explanations with diagrams that change as you move through the solution. You can open an explanation whenever you need it. Furigana helps you read unfamiliar Japanese mathematical terms.

FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
Learning content works offline. No account, ads or in-app purchases. Recently opened stories are saved on your device.
