About

Spark the motivation to learn. Enjoy learning. Get good at math without even noticing. Math Game is a 60-second arithmetic game. Tap an operation and the round starts: three lives, questions that get harder as you go, no menus, no settings. Children think they are clearing levels and collecting buddies. Every round is mental-math practice. 【60 seconds is exactly as long as a child is willing to give】 • Before homework, before bed, while waiting for the bus • Points for every correct answer, double for streaks, and a last-10-seconds alarm that makes you push for one more • The results screen lists every miss with the correct answer, so a mistake is learned once 【15 animal buddies grow stronger with you】 • Cat, dog, bunny, bear and panda are there from day one; penguin, fox, koala, frog, lamb and more unlock through total correct answers, streaks and world rank • Each buddy has 12 stickers that light up the more rounds you play together; at the end of a round your buddy cheers or roots for you • Your Math Card tracks total correct answers and climbs from Rookie to Rare, Epic, Legend and Mythic 【A small goal every day, rewards for streaks】 • One small goal on the home screen: play a few rounds, get a number correct, or try your weakest operation. The goal is always just a little more than usual • Streak days 2, 3, 7, 14, 30 and 100 bring stickers, buddies and badges • The weekly board resets every Monday and adds up every round you play, so playing more always counts; the high-score board keeps your single best round against the whole world 【Why math gets better while you play: the research behind the design】 • Retrieval practice (the testing effect): actively recalling an answer builds memory far better than re-reading (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006, Psychological Science). Every question is a retrieval. • Spaced practice: many short sessions beat one long one for long-term retention (Cepeda et al., 2006, Psychological Bulletin meta-analysis). One 60-second round, a little every day. • Arithmetic fluency: speed and fluency of basic fact retrieval predict later mathematics achievement (Geary, 2011, Developmental Psychology); timed practice with immediate feedback is an effective way to build it (Codding, Burns & Lukito, 2011 meta-analysis). • Immediate feedback: feedback is among the strongest influences on learning (Hattie & Timperley, 2007, Review of Educational Research). Right or wrong shows instantly, and every miss is reviewed with its correct answer. • Games and motivation: game elements have a moderate positive effect on learning outcomes (Bai, Hew & Huang, 2020, Educational Research Review meta-analysis). Buddies, stickers and streaks handle "one more round"; the questions handle "getting fluent". • Difficulty that grows with you: questions level up automatically so the challenge stays right where it is doable but takes a little effort. 【Parents can relax】 • No login, no account: open and play; the game remembers the device • No ads, no in-app purchases, no chat • Photo avatars are visible only to you; others on the leaderboard see a built-in animal icon. Every row can be reported or blocked • Made for grades 1–6, and for anyone who wants faster mental math One round a day, until your child says "one more".
