### 2/5 — Lacking

*2019-11-11, version 1.2*

App is clear for the topics it includes but really not enough topics covered. Especially considering I could get all of these on the internet. Many topics need to be included in geometry, calculus etc...

### 3/5 — Timing

*2019-08-12, version 1.2*

Just what my son needs

### 5/5 — Brilliantly crafted

*2019-06-09, version 1.2*

Excellent app, flow, ease of use.

### 2/5 — Disappointing number interactive activities

*2019-04-25, version 1.2*

Expecting more activities given free version. Lots formulae and calculations but more required.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2019-03-06, version 1.2*

This app is like my math cheat sheets because it’s simple and easy to understand if you already have a basic understanding of the topics. I love the proofs because it helps me solidify my understanding of the topics.

I’m currently a college engineering student who has kind of forgotten some old basic math and so this app is a great at brushing me up on old topics.

I really enjoy the simplicity of the style, front type and size, and color code.

I don’t mind paying for it as a college student because it’s obvious the developers put a lot of effort into it and obviously it’s a useful app.

### 4/5 — Great App But...

*2019-02-02, version 1.2*

I loved the app guys! I haven’t paid for it yet because i’m still deciding if it would be worth it or not but, I would love the app 10x more if it had Calculus 3/Multivariable Calculus on it. I’m only in Calculus 1, so maybe you guys do have it and it’s just my lack of knowledge of Calc 3, regardless, please let me know!

### 5/5 — Adult math help

*2019-01-15, version 1.2*

Connor was very helpful and I feel could guide my daughter and I with our challenge concerning math. Wonderful person and understands the situation my adult daughter is currently challenged by. We look forward to Connor calling back.

Thank You

### 5/5 — Math interactive

*2018-11-29, version 1.2*

My kid uses it all the time to study

### 5/5 — Good

*2018-10-16, version 1.2*

I would like to add that maybe this app should have examples of linear equations. Just a helpful suggestion. I would also like to add that maybe this app could have multiply polynomials. I have a hard time in math and this helps me with some of the concepts that I am learning.

### 5/5 — Finally!

*2018-10-02, version 1.2*

Hat’s off to the brilliant students who developed this app! This is an app that promotes understanding of concepts and not just providing answers. This is a math teacher’s dream!

### 5/5 — Very good. But..

*2018-09-22, version 1.2*

I love the explanation of the formulas. I use the app as a reference and refresher for math. But I found several things missing: Matrices and solving systems of linear equations. Please add.

### 5/5 — Gooood

Get your problems straight

### 5/5 — Awesome.

*2018-07-27, version 1.2*

The definitions and the pictures that the app gives you is very helpful.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Very disappointing app

*2020-02-19, version 1.2*

Do not spend your money on this app, it is basically one of those plastic review sheets. The only interactivity is the selection of a topic to be displayed. The descriptions are limited to a single example with a brief explanation and sometimes a proof, which has no value in this setting. More examples are needed showing different circumstances. There is no mention of sequences and series which is a very important algebra topic. If it was free I probably would have deleted it also. Too bad. It sounded good but you had to pay to find out how lacking it is. Free google searches yield far superior content.

### 1/5 — Aims to offer deep intuition — only provides dry, verbose half explanations

*2019-09-12, version 1.2*

You would do much better learning this information on Khan Academy, which covers all of the topics in this app with more detail and more examples.

### 1/5 — Weak offering!!

*2019-05-29, version 1.2*

The best part about this app is the list of topics. I like this for some reason because it seems to help me grasp the breadth of mathematics.

Otherwise, I don’t see any reason why you’d pay for a subscription for this information when there are at least 3 free alternatives that provide better features and content.

### 1/5 — Not the best and probably not the worst

*2019-03-22, version 1.2*

The app isn’t really what I would call “interactive” and it is overall very shallow. The UI is mediocre at best and it doesn’t really feel any different from any free app. Idk for me the sorting is weird since they show u a table of anti derivatives before you even learn about integrals and how they work. Focus on organizing the math by difficulty if you can since there’s just section headers. Sometimes people don’t understand certain variables and symbols; so it would probably be a good idea to put like a hoverable ui element over symbols or math terms people may have forgotten or are unaware of. Overall I’m not really impressed and to me there are much better options out there rather than paying $3ish for premium. I’m pretty sure this team of people are new to app development but I think they should know what happens when they slap a price tag on their software (if they don’t know already). As people said before, khan academy is free of charge and is much better than this currently is (yes khan academy has much more resources but still), and the developers should focus on a way to make this app teach math in a unique and engaging way.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2018-10-27, version 1.2*

I am back in college and taking Algebra II. I was hoping for some guidance with different problems including d=r*t but haven’t found anything on the app to help me. Waste of my money.

### 1/5 — Terrible!!!

*2018-10-08, version 1.2*

I thought this app had drills and exercises. It’s just formulas. The creators of the app sold me on the vision and the story behind the app. In reality. It’s just an app with static formulas you can find online for free or in the back of a textbook. Don’t buy. Waste of money.

### 1/5 — It’s ok I guess...

*2018-05-15, version 1.2*

I found this app because it was featured on the App Store. The calculation in their example is wrong. The app itself is ok for the price, but it’s definitely not for anyone who actually needs help or needs to learn the concepts (especially with incorrect numbers). Khan Academy is still the best and is free.

UPDATE: Received a comment from the programmer. I don’t know how to reply directly, so hopefully they see this update. The error I noticed was in Bayes’ Theorem. I haven’t noticed any other errors because frankly, I quit looking at your app. Good concept... but it needs a lot of help!

### 1/5 — Family Sharing but not for the premium!?

*2018-05-08, version 1.2*

Says up 6 members can share yet it doesn’t allow family members to use the premium features...

### 1/5 — This app is a virus, from the looks of it

*2018-04-22, version 1.2*

I downloaded this app for recaps on theorems when I needed them. It turned out to be an app I wasn’t looking for and I didn’t like it. I deleted it, and thought that was the end of it... I was wrong... it showed up on my home screen with that white background apps use have when they’re being installed instead of the actual thumbnail. I deleted it again, but came back again. And now I’m stuck in an endless loop of uninstalling it, it coming back, uninstalling it, it coming back, and so on. I’m not sure why it’s toying with me like this, but this is the only app I’ve seen this happen to. My guess is it has some virus in it that made its way to the AppStore. I’m not sure if this virus or whatever it is was planted purposely or accidentally, but either way, DOWNLOADERS BEWARE!!!!

### 1/5 — Not Worth It

*2018-03-27, version 1.2*

The title makes the app sound like it has every math concept there is. When I got the app, the app only had about ten concepts for trigonometry and eleven concepts for geometry. Both of these subjects have easily forty topics. Plus most of the lessons it has are premium that you have to buy

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good

### 5/5 — Brilliant app, ignore jealous haters

*2020-03-13, version 1.2*

Thank you for making this app. Keeps my skills fresh as an aging engineer.

Now I use it to help my kids with school.

Made well and works nice on my iPhone 8.

### 5/5 — One of the best Math help apps I’ve ever used

*2019-12-16, version 1.2*

This is an amazing app. Get it. You won’t be disappointed. No adds. No fluff. Interactive and clearly explained.

### 5/5 — App is good resource, not a teaching tool

*2019-09-14, version 1.2*

The one star reviews are harsh, unyielding, and expect the app to be something it’s not. This app is a clean, spare, dictionary of math formulas and concepts. All the info in a clear, easy to find place.

It assumes you’ve already learned the material, and need help remembering it. If you are not learning or haven’t already learned the concepts, this will not teach you.

It is not a magic wand, it’s not a teacher, and it’s not going to make the math itself easier. It’s simply a library of information that’s easily accessible. Khan academy and other online tools are not this. They are online math lessons, this is not.

For the people complaining about the price, it’s $3, far less than the cost of any book. The people who built it did an excellent job, and you’re able to test the app out for free. You don’t pay the money unless you decide the app works for you. If the app is not what you need, that doesn’t make it a 1 star app. The rating of apps is not about you.

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2019-08-21, version 1.2*

This is a must for anyone who ever needs to solve a math problem.

### 5/5 — App = Max(geek)

*2019-07-23, version 1.2*

I can’t help feeling that if I’d had this as a sixth-form maths & physics student, my life would have been a lot easier!
