He plays it almost every day and it is a great way for him to improve his math skills. However when we reached planet five the game continuously crashed. We haven't been able to even open one of the levels because it keeps crashing. This really upsets me because this game wasn't cheap. If Playpower doesn't do something to fix this I'm going to call Apple and ask for my money back. So dissappointing. ### 2/5 — Great app until it crashes *2017-02-23, version 1.8* My kids love to play this and it's such a great way for them to sharpen their math skills, but..... it crashes! Once my son got to a certain level he couldn't go any further. Crashes every time. I payed way too much for this kind of poor quality. He was never able to finish the planet and I ended up just deleting the game from his ipad. ### 4/5 — Great *2016-04-27* This actually looks great for my son. A little simple for the age group. And I noticed that in the comparison of which is larger in level 4 (I think) it gives two options of 555 but marks both as wrong. Please fix. My son is autistic, there is no wrong answer, neither is larger. Either make it different numbers or mark it right. Also, the 1 looks like a 4 with the font you chose. Otherwise, great app, well done! ### 3/5 — It's fine *2016-02-21, version 1.8* It's ok I just wish there were more challenging levels then what they are. ### 3/5 — Should be more stars but... *2015-05-28, version 1.7* This is a great app! My kids love it and say it's fun. The only thing I would change is that when you replay a level it has the exact same questions over and over again. So effectively once you master those 5-10 questions there is no reason to ever play that level again. Also, if you are planning to buy all the levels don't do what I did and buy it through the in-app purchase. Instead go to the App Store and buy the pro version. Since I bought mine through the in-app purchase I now don't have the capability to open these level on a second device for my second child. Boo! For these reason I only gave this app 3 stars. ### 2/5 — Full Version Extremely Overpriced! *2015-03-11, version 1.7* I got excited before really testing the app and went ahead and purchased the full pro version which is of surface good quality. However all of the questions in each level are exactly the same and are placed in exactly the same order every time that the level is played. This gives the app little replay value. I would like to see the option to have the questions randomized and more content added. Better yet I'd like to see the questions randomly generated so that each gameplay experience is different from the previous. If you plan to purchase this app be aware that the content is severely limited for the $20 premium price tag. I do personally regret my purchase. The most I would spend on the full version of this app is $5 and even that price is stretching what it's worth compared to other premium education apps on the AppStore. I think that the most accurate value for this app in it's present state is $3. ### 4/5 — Fraction planet *2014-10-26, version 1.2* I've been using fraction planet with my students for a year. I was very excited to see that there is finally an ipad version. Gameplay and math skills are still outstanding. Unfortunately the price is way too high to make this usable for my classroom and my students. ### 3/5 — Great but for the price *2014-10-19, version 1.2* Awesome app for math games. The variety and gradually increasing difficulty is awesome. The price is terrible though. I would like to be able to set this up on all the iPads in my classroom but it is too expensive to do. $20 per player to unlock all grade levels is too much. I could maybe see doing it at $10 if it unlocked all of the levels for two players. For unlocking only one player I wouldn't want to pay much over $5. ### 4/5 — Fun *2014-08-31, version 1.2* The game would get five stars but it only lets you play one planet and then you have to buy the full version which is overpriced so overall great game but plz either lower the price a lot or let us play more planets before we have to pay. Thx ### 3/5 — Great, but iffy pricing structure *2014-07-20, version 1.2* Firstly, this is pretty engaging and has real educational merit. My problem is with the pricing structure - for me it doesn't work. Don't get me wrong, it's worth paying for, but you'll probably be better off buying the individual grade (year group) apps. This is especially true if you have more than two kids of differing ages/abilities. If you buy the main version, you're limited to 2 players overall. If you buy the grade 2 & grade 4 separately, you get 4 players and differing levels for much less money. Just my 2 cents as they say. ### 2/5 — Please fix for older devices! *2014-07-15, version 1.2* This app looks amazing, so I was really excited to get it for my son and I to use over the summer to make brushing up on his math skills fun. Unfortunately, though, the app immediately crashes upon opening. Tried everything I could to get it working, but to no avail. I first purchased it in 2014 and have been using it since. I wish they would make it available again for people to purchase as well as update and fix bugs in the application.
