The graphical explanations are fantastic, and the sandbox is a great idea. Sadly, there is a serious flaw in the exercises portion... The “addition” exercises are really subtraction! There is a 6 up top and 4 down below and the child is to find the number to add below to reach the top. That’s 6-4, which is subtraction. Please include addition exercises! For example, put 2 + 3 up top and have the child select 5 below. That’s addition.

**Developer response:** The goal of the app is to help kids understand how to manipulate terms in a mathematical expression, and not doing simple quiz such as "2+3". In your example, the goal is to help the child to understand that he must add 2 to 4 to make 6 (so it is an addition). The child has to drag 2 to the bottom part and do the addition. It is a very different process than just doing a simple quiz. However, I think I will add a simple quiz activity because a lot of people are looking for this kind of exercise too. Comme souvent les applis escapadou sont très bien faites. Le suivi individuel est vraiment un plus.
Gros bémol concernant la création d’exercices, impossible de mettre plusieurs nombres car il n’y a pas de virgule sur le clavier qui apparaît dans l.appli. Dommage. Bug ?
C’est à cause de ça le 3 étoiles

I love this app because it’s so addicting to learn math (in my opinion) so cool except can you add something to the sandbox? Can you add numbers 6 through 10? Pls? And also BEST THING EVER (edit) can you pls add multiplication and division pls?

Offers excellent visuals, simple instructions, self-paced and exploratory play, and monitors progress.  This company continues their excellent tradition of offering intelligent, creative learning applications! Teacher recommended!
