## What is MathChirp?

MathChirp turns everyday math practice into a short spoken game your child can play in a few minutes a day.

Each question is read aloud and shown on screen. Your child answers by tapping the big number keypad, or simply by saying the answer out loud. Every round ends with a score, a star rating and a burst of confetti.

SPACED REPETITION, WORKING QUIETLY
MathChirp remembers every fact your child has answered and works out when to ask it again. It is the method behind flashcard apps for adults, hidden inside a game a six-year-old can play.

• A fact your child finds hard comes back the same day. One they know comes back tomorrow, then in two days, then four, then a week, then two weeks
• Every round automatically mixes facts that are due for review with new ones. Nothing to schedule, nothing to switch on
• How quickly your child answers counts too, not just whether they were right, because knowing 7 x 8 means recalling it rather than counting up to it
• 7 + 8 and 8 + 7 are treated as one fact, so no practice is wasted

ACTIVE RECALL, NOT RECOGNITION
A question your child gets wrong comes back a few questions later in the same round. Having to pull the answer out of memory once the moment has passed is what makes it stick, so the app scores that second attempt lower than a fact recalled cold.

SEE WHAT IS IMPROVING
• Accuracy across recent rounds, drawn as a chart
• How many facts have moved from just learned to known well
• Accuracy for each operation, so you can see whether division is the sticking point
• A practice streak counted in days

PRACTICE THE TRICKY ONES
One tap starts a round built only from the facts your child gets wrong most often.

PRACTICE, NOT PRESSURE
• Choose which operations to drill: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
• Set the number range, from 2 up to 100
• Pick how many questions make a round, from 3 to 100
• Allow as much time per question as your child needs, from 30 seconds to 5 minutes
• Add a pause between questions so there is room to think out loud

ANSWER BY VOICE OR BY TAP
• Every question is spoken aloud, so early readers can play too
• Tap the microphone and say the answer, or use the oversized keypad
• Voice input is optional. Decline the microphone prompt and the app plays exactly the same
• Feedback stays encouraging. A wrong answer shows the correct one and moves on

FOUR LANGUAGES
English, Tiếng Việt, Español, 简体中文

Changing the language switches the interface, the spoken questions and the voice recognition together, so the whole app follows your child's language.

WHAT IT COSTS
MathChirp is free. You get 10 plays each day and they refill the next day. If your child wants to keep going, you can watch an optional rewarded video for 5 extra plays. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. Ads never interrupt a round: you only ever see one if you choose to watch it.

PRIVACY
• No account, no sign-up, no profile
• Settings, progress and play credits stay on the device, and nothing your child does is uploaded
• No tracking prompt and no advertising identifier
• Ads are requested with child-directed treatment and limited to general audience content

WORKS WITHOUT WI-FI
Questions, scoring, the spoken prompts and the whole review schedule run on the device, so a car journey or a waiting room works fine. Only the optional rewarded video needs a connection.

Made for the kitchen table, the school run, and the ten minutes before bed.
