### 5/5 — Special Ed. Teacher

*2013-12-01, version 1.5*

I like this app. It helps my children work faster as well as feeling like they are playing a game.

### 5/5 — Great way to practice math facts!

*2013-11-20, version 1.5*

fun, quick games great for solidifying memorization using different parts of the brain. Highly motivating too!

### 5/5 — Fun & Helpful

*2013-10-31*

Works on all 4 major math operations. Great water sound effects & easy to use. Not a lot "bells and whistles"--nice & basic. If you miss an answer, one of the building windows gets broken. Has a timer that is quietly counting in the upper right corner of the screen. Wish list? That the math facts went through the 15s. Great app for K-5th.

### 5/5 — Very useful app

*2013-10-30*

Better than other apps tried for times tables and has other operations too.

### 5/5 — Great classroom app

*2013-10-04*

My second graders think this game is fun. I know that they are learning their math facts. I love that we can have multiple users with separate sign-ins. Well worth the money!!!

### 5/5 — Homeschool Mom

*2013-09-18*

I am a mom of a special needs child who has a horrible time trying to memorize anything. With this game I can choose what number she is learning and as she gets better I can increase the difficulty from no timer, slow, med, and fast. The fast level is a great challenge, you have to know the answer because you only have 3 secs to answer. I truly wish there were more games like this that let you choose the multiplier and the difficulty.

### 5/5 — like it

*2013-07-17, version 1.4*

helps jump start the basics

### 5/5 — Love it

*2013-05-22, version 1.4*

This game is the best. I do not even have to ask my son to play it because he enjoys it so much.

### 5/5 — Firefighter Ella

*2013-05-11, version 1.4*

I like this game because I want to be a firefighter

### 5/5 — Great learning app

*2013-03-08, version 1.3*

Our 2nd grader really enjoys the game and often picks it to play keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Great game to help with fast thinking skills

*2013-03-05*

This is a wonderful game that helps your child's brain think fast and also gain strength with their math facts! The different times for easy, medium, and hard is wonderful! My son is highly engaged and wants to keep going to add to his score and to win medals! Self motivating which is a relief right now as parents! I would highly recommend this game. It would be great for schools also!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Meh

*2018-12-09*

It is ok

### 2/5 — No answers!

*2013-09-12, version 1.4*

When the answer is wrong, it does not provide the correct answer! How is the child supposed to learn the right answers. This a testing app...not a learning app.

### 2/5 — Great reinforcement, not teaching

*2013-03-03*

This app is a great way to quiz a child who has learned the facts. It does not teach. If a problem is missed it just goes to the next problem without showing the correct answer. Also you have to visually scan to find the correct answer which may be helpful or hurtful depending on your child's learning style. We turned the sound off as it caused my 8 year old to feel anxious. A good app for some, but not for everyone.

### 3/5 — The same thing over and over

*2018-11-29*

Basically no variety drill and kill.

### 3/5 — HATERS GUNNA HATE

*2016-10-23, version 1.6*

I'm eight and I'm in G4 and this makes me bad at math

### 4/5 — Mathopolis review

*2020-07-08*

The game is very simple and easy to use, but my only complaint is that there are only so many questions and medals/levels. I would love it if the app developer could add some more questions or levels. It would also be great if they could add some other kinds of math, like word problems. Other than that is great!

### 4/5 — Nice game

*2015-12-12*

Daughter enjoys playing this game

### 4/5 — Great Basic Math Fact App

*2015-11-11*

This is one of the few math fact apps that allows you to practice ALL operators at one time (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Many apps have all operators within them, but you can only practice one at a time. This app does allow you to work on one operator at a time, but later as students advance you can opt to practice addition and subtraction, or multiplication and division, or all operators at once! It allows multiple users for one device/download which is helpful for families with more than one child that needs to use the game or for classrooms sharing iPads. I like that you can earn three different medals for each fact set which gives students a goal to shoot for-- such as earn minimum bronze level then work up to gold level. Settings allow Rachel or parents to adjust difficulty level between 3 levels, select which operations to practice, and which family group of numbers such as "2s, 5s, 8s." My only complaint is that the game players can get fatigue from playing as the story/premise never really changes. The buildings you fight fires on change, but I would love if a developer made a game with all these features in more of a story setting with different bosses to battle, levels to pass, new awards to earn, etc. My kids get tired of playing this game so more variety would be nice.

### 4/5 — Nice

### 4/5 — Awesome educational game!

*2012-09-29*

This educational game is perfect for everyone as young as preschool all the way up to beyond college. Entire families will love the game. It's perfect for those learning multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction. It's also good for those trying to get better at their math facts.

### 5/5 — Mathopolis: the game of G.O.A.T.S.

*2020-11-11, version 2.1*

I first played this game when I was eight. I need help with my multiplication, and a decade later I forgot my times tables (oop-) and redownloaded this. I love you and it’s really good. One suggestion I have is to maybe be able to own stores or something? And incorperate math into everything? It’s not a fire fighter game it’s called Mathopolis which is the name of the whole town. So you should increase your business and do more. That is all, THANK YOU!
