I've used it since the time it was called SpaceTime (2009-2010). This latest update is not going to let me go forward with MathStudio though. I do not use programming applications that require internet access. Ever. I am disappointed the vendor has gone this way in their business model. Perhaps many people don't care about enabling others to have access to their code but I do. 5 stars for MathStudio functionality and purpose. 1 star for how customers have to run it going forward. I am disappointed that I have my last version. ### 1/5 — Once paid 8€ for this... *2017-05-20* ... and now this thing was updated to a free ~online only~ version because I accidentally removed the installation. Just another example of how people (with a very good app though) make money on the appstore. :-/ Update: Even if you had this installed, this new version does only work online. It was a great app that worked offline, but now after the last update suddenly became only work through the Internet and for offline mode require money Full divorce and cheating. Not even an update in these years. Actually older updates were better and supported much more features than this last update! I will never buy another app from them. ### 1/5 — Passage en version 8 : l’app a perdu son intérêt *2021-07-05* Depuis le passage en version 8 (et son renommage en Express) cette app a perdu tout son intérêt : un look qui ne cadre pas avec les canons d’iOS (on se croirait sur le système de Microsoft ou sur linux, en tout cas le logiciel n’utilise pas les boutons iOS), une zone de visualisation réduite (auparavant les graphiques s’affichaient sur une bonne partie de l’écran)… En fait, on retrouve l’ancienne interface du logiciel (qui est l’objet de l’éloge des précédents commentaires datant de 4 ans et plus) dans MathStudio (tout court), également en version 8, mais coutant plus de 20 euros. And now they are offering the paid version as an entirely different app and asking me to pay for that again! **Developer response:** MathStudio is now updated to its original state that does not require internet access. I recently had to reset my phone and it's been changed to basically a totally different calculator and I'm expected to pay again?? This new version reverts MathStudio but to its original state for all users. ### 1/5 — Constant money grab *2017-05-29, version 7.3.1* I bought this app outright for $19.99 about 1.5 years ago and now I'm being forced to the "free web edition". The best way is to version your product and "dead end" a version rather downgrade. Waste of money considering other free and paid options - PocketCAS and i48 (free HP 48GX app). ### 1/5 — Forced migration? *2017-05-22, version 6.1* I remember purchasing this app several years ago when there wasn't a 'pro' app. Now it is just a free 'express' app with another 'pro' app to be purchased. Wow. Not that I am not content with the app, but by the wording of the update, it seems that if by whatever reasons I need to reinstall the app, it will be reduced to a version that requires internet to work.
