## What is MathTier?

What tier is your maths, really?

MathTier is ten tiers of maths problems — Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle School, High School, Undergrad, Graduate — and a ladder you climb by actually being right.

THE LADDER
Every answer feeds a rolling window of your last 20 problems in that tier. Keep your accuracy up and the promotion gauge fills. At 100% a promotion trial opens: five problems from the next tier, four correct to move up. Fail and you lose nothing — your tier never goes down. This is a hobby, not an exam.

ANSWERS COME WITH REASONS
Every single problem gives you the answer AND a step-by-step explanation of how to get there. Not "the answer is 7" — the actual working, one line at a time, with the key idea stated plainly. Explanations are free for everyone, forever. An app that sells you the reason is an app that wants you to stay stuck.

TEN TIERS, HONESTLY BUILT
Kindergarten through Advanced High School are generated fresh every time, so you will not run out: counting, times tables, clocks, fractions, ratios, equations, factoring, Pythagoras, logs, trig, sequences, limits, derivatives, integrals, combinatorics. University and graduate tiers are hand-written — linear algebra, multivariable calculus, ODEs, series, complex analysis, discrete maths, real analysis, abstract algebra, topology, measure theory, functional analysis, probability.

WHERE AM I? — 30-SECOND PLACEMENT
A 15-question adaptive test finds your level and hands you a card that says it.

SHARE THE CLIMB
Every promotion produces a card built for posting — your badge, your rung on the ladder, your accuracy and streak. Story and square sizes, five themes.

TRULY OFFLINE
No account. No sign-up. No network calls of any kind. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Works in airplane mode, on a plane, in a tunnel. Your progress is yours and it stays on your device.

FREE AND PRO
Kindergarten through Middle School: unlimited, free. Daily challenge: free, the same ten problems worldwide. Higher tiers: five taster problems a day. MathTier Pro is one payment, forever — all ten tiers unlimited, the wrong-answer notebook, detailed statistics, unlimited placement tests, and every share-card theme. No subscription.

Made for people who like maths the way other people like crosswords.
